Open for registrations! The third Augusta Irish Retreat will take place at Blackwater Falls State Park in Davis, WV on November 14-17, 2024.

The staff has yet again been drawn together by the wonderful Brenda Castles of Dublin, Ireland and includes Eimear Arkins, Allan Murray, Joey Abarta and David McKindley-Ward.

This weekend is setup as a choose-your-own-adventure experience. In the mornings, you can pick from amongst the three classes offered each period to create your perfect schedule. Classes this year include fiddle, guitar, bouzouki, uillean pipes, ornamentation, harmonizing, bowing, lilting, singing in the Irish language, step dancing and more! In the afternoons, pick your choice of a staff-led slow or fast session followed by events such as a ceilidh dance (with students joining the band or dancing!) and a student showcase. The evenings will feature a variety of events including concerts, tune & song sessions, a special live-score movie screening of a film by our own Brenda Castles. The staff concert for this event has been consistently transporting and of the highest caliber.

You don't want to miss the 2024 Augusta Irish Retreat.
