Your artfully directed, yet esoterically weird, movies and TV shows will be treasures forever. You have left an indelible mark upon the world of cinema..

RIP David Lynch.

(without him, there would be no Dune Sting)

Here's a ✨brand new✨episode of Damaged Goods Radio featuring a recent 1-on-1 interview Matt did with Hugo Burnham from Gang Of Four!

Back in November 2023, Lenny Kaye from the Patti Smith Group played a tribute show to the amazing box set he compiled "Nuggets" at Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, North Carolina.

The Nuggets Boxset profiles lost classics from the 60s psychedelic garage rock era. Matt was fortunate enough to sit down with one of the performers before the show Hugo Burnham (the drummer from Gang of Four) and discussed a bit of the history of Gang of Four as well as his involvement with the Nuggets tribute shows.

Tune in!

Damaged Goods Radio EXCLUSIVE!

The Damaged Goods Radio team took a field trip to the Cryptozoology & Paranormal Muesum in small town of Littleton, NC. In this investigative trip, DJs Lava Lamp and Dune Sting, along with super-duper best friend Courtney, uncovered the truth!

Here are just 3 facts YOU NEED TO KNOW:

1. Bigfoot exists and loves North Carolina. REALLY loves NC. Bigfoot gets around.

2. Matt, Chris, and Courtney detected ghosts and spiritual energies with the sophisticated EM meters provided.
[ Note: Cellphones also set them off, which led us to conclude that cellphones are actually conduits to the spirit world… obviously ]

3. If you ask the museum curator about his randomly displayed Madonna photo, he will tell you ALL about it.

Feeling dark and moody today., so accordingly, my track reflects those emotions.

This week’s track: “Silk Spirit”, by Captured Tracks recording artist, Drahla (a very excellent post-punk band from Leeds, UK). Track from their November 2017 EP “Third Article”.

Picking a topical song for this week. Listen to the lyrics. Draw your own conclusions.

This week’s track: “Violent Days”, by Queens based pop-punk band UV-TV from their August 2017 EP “Go Away”.

My friends, you have all been woefully deprived long enough! After a 10 week social media hiatus, I am back and ready to bring you (yes, YOU) the greatest music in the world!

This week’s track: “Irrelevant Man”, from the LA-based, Smirk, aka Nick Vicario, from the appropriately titled LP, “LP”, released March 2021.

DJ Dune Sting is going to start off your week properly with some bizarrely melodic alternative. Don’t let the discordant (‘disCHORDant’ is more apt, perhaps?) sound scare you off, because then you’d then be missing out on one of the most compelling bands you’re likely to hear lately.

This week’s track: “The Hit”, from the LA indie/alternative duo, Kamikaze Palm Tree from their 2022 LP “Mint Chip”, released by Drag City Records.

A lot mid-80’s alternative new wave weirdness can be heard in this week’s track (think Surburban Lawns, Lene Lovich, and Sparks).

This week’s track: “Visible Damage”, from the 2022 debut album of the same name, by Long Beach, California postpunk/new wave band, Self Improvement.
