I was created in the
minds, hearts and hands of two friends (Diego and Carlos) who are having a lot of
fun with my adventures. Currently I am the main character in their comic strip. I was always interested in consciousness, the mind, who we are and how all that stuff
works, so I ended up being a well trained but poorly skilled brain scientist. Along that
pathway I discovered Buddhism and became a
modern monk. Then subjective knowledge and intuition started their own path in my life. This of course leads to a variety of situations,
thoughts and feelings that are reflected in this strip. They mostly involve a dialectic
relation between science and spirituality, the perks of being a lay monk, dealing with
passions, meditation retreats, living Buddhism in west cultures, work, moral dilemmas and of course, a lot of love and compassion. This project has a very organic development that is growing out of it self. Me and the
guys are kind of discovering with great curiosity and joy, where it will take us. We feel
very happy about communicating and inspiring both thoughts and feelings in other
sentient beings.
