AMU mein khane ke naqis (kharab) meyar ke khilaf pichhli der raat Vice Chancellor lodge par talba (students) ke zabardast ehtijaj (protest) ke baad aaj Sir Syed Hall (North) ke dining hall mein Proctor aur DSW ne na sirf students ke saath khana khaya balki unhe apne haathon se khana bhi khilaya.

Agar isi tarah hafte mein kam se kam ek baar apni zimmedari samajhte hue Hall Provost aur Warden students ke saath khana khakar khane ke meyar (quality) aur miqdar (quantity) ko check karein, toh students ko kabhi ehtijaj karne ki zaroorat hi nahi padegi.

AMU Dental College Student Selected for ICMR Short-Term Studentship 2026

ALIGARH, September 7: Gauri Gupta, a second-year BDS student of the 2024 batch at Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has been selected for the Short-Term Studentship (STS) 2026 awarded by the Department of Health Research (DHR), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

The ICMR Short-Term Studentship (STS) programme provides undergraduate medical and dental students an opportunity to gain exposure to research methodology by working with experienced researchers. Ms. Gupta has been awarded the studentship for her research project titled “Prevalence of OSMF among Smokeless To***co Users in Aligarh District”.

The project will be undertaken under the mentorship of Dr. Nasir A. Salati, Chairperson, Department of Oral Pathology, Microbiology and Forensic Odontology, with Dr. Shahla Khan as the guide.

Dr. Salati has congratulated Ms. Gupta on her selection.
