Independent Film company based in Tampa, Florida. We specialize in the horror genre. But years later it has been released on DVD.

Born in New York and raised in Florida, Rick Danford has always wanted to be in the movies. Early on there were dreams of acting and then as time marched on he found his home behind the camera. Rick began the Indie Film Company Renegade Films along with his very talented friends Kerry Hogan and Porl DeNicolo. Together they dove into their first feature film, "The Web of Darkness" which starred Gen

re Legends Tom Savini and Brinke Stevens. Essentially learning their way as production rolled on the film was beset by one disaster after another. Renegade Films also produced the short films, "Blood Money", "The Pledge" (Which starred local Radio DJ Chris Fisher) and "Bloody Mary". They also ran a very successful "Saints & Sinners Film Festival" at The State Theater for 5 years. The Renegade boys eventually parted ways and Rick went on to create Enigma Films. There Rick ran "The Halloween Horror Picture Show" for 5 years and also produced a couple of shorts including the Award Winning "Alarum" and "The Reaper" which was an Official Selection of "The New York City Horror Film Festival". Most recently Rick has produced another short called, "The Thing Under The Bed" and is actively working with Tom Savini to raise funds to produce a zombie film they've co-written called "Tom Savini's Death Island" that Savini himself is set to direct. Rick is also working with Brinke Stevens, Steven Shea, Jeff Strand and Andy Lalino on an anthology horror film called, "All Hallows Eve".

An era of nightmares is coming to a close… 🖤💀

Back in 2001, I launched the very first Nightmare The Nightmare Collection, a blood-soaked anthology packed onto a DVD with:
🎬 A chilling wraparound story
👻 Four twisted short films
💥 A vault of bonus content
🧟‍♀️ And a Necro Nancy prequel comic in every box

In 2005, we began Volume II, but fate had other plans. Production halted for years... until 2022, when the nightmare was resurrected. We started fresh, breathing new life into Volume II with a bold new vision.

Then last year, I partnered with the amazing Aimee Rolfsen to craft Volume III, expanding the madness even further.

Now, after decades of blood, sweat, and scares, Volume II and Volume III will finally hit DVD next month, marking the end (for now...) of the Necro Nancy saga.

I’m beyond thrilled to finally share these long-awaited projects and shine a spotlight on the killer shorts featured in each.

We created a Halloween fan film a few years back that was so much fun and won several awards. Then we followed it up with two sequels to finish the story I started with the first one. It's a multiverse type of story bringing all of our favorite slashers together in the same storyline.

I edited them all together for one feature length film and I wanted to share it today in honor of Halloween. You can view it below.
