Mandi’s story is full of complexity, beauty, struggle and joy. She shares it today from a place of security, peace and fully leaning into learning the world from a post-Mormon perspective.
Raised by a devout LDS Mother and liberal-leaning Father, she found her way into what was considered a “mixed orientation marriage” with a gay man in her 20’s. Three kids and 22 years later, she divorced and opened up to her own q***r stirrings which, among other things, led her out of her LDS community. She is now living the life of her choice, with the partner of her choice, hoping to make the abundant goodness in the world a little more accessible.

Thank you, so very much, to Mandi McBride for taking the time to come and spend time with us here at Human Stories. We truly appreciate you and your wonderful spirit you brought to the studio 🫶 Mandi’s story is now streaming on all podcast platforms.
