If I look at the founders and experts I’ve worked with this year who’ve had the most success with their PR- where they’ve used it to build their authority, trust and credibility - its been a core part of their growth strategy (and I’m including myself in this list too by the way).
Not a tick box on a to do list.
And as we head into 2026 this is going to be more important for a number of colliding factors:
1. AI changing search and the importance of your credible PR to make sure you’re recommended
2. The trust recession and the power of third party endorsement that’s going to position you as a credible go-to
3. People are looking for depth. 8-second reels aren’t enough. They want to understand your approach. PR gives you the space to go deep
4. The algorithm isn’t on your side - we’re spending too much energy and time on the same things that aren’t working in the same way anymore
5. Authority over visibility. Being seen isn’t enough. You need to Get Known for what you do.
