The number one rule of Christmas PR? Don’t panic!

I’m currently working on my free training session thats taking place this Thursday and it’s reminding me how every year my members continue to smash it (swipe right for a sneaky peek!)

I’m doing this session for non-members to show you how you can DIY your Christmas PR and have a 🚀 Q4

We’ll be looking at all the different ways you can use PR this Christmas (it’s not just about the gift guides- although we’ll cover them too) - whether you’re a product business, interior designer, fitness coach, mental health expert, there’s opportunities out there for you.

It’s time people.

If your business has a big focus on Q4 (whether you’re a product or a service business) then now’s the time to start thinking about your Christmas PR.

The monthly glossies put their Christmas issues together in July (and we’re starting to see Xmas requests earlier every year).

So my advice? Start early - give yourself a good run at it and view it as a marathon not a sprint. Your Q4 self will be very grateful to you for starting now.

The key is knowing that as a small business there a LOTS of different PR opportunities for you to get your business seen by new audiences, to drive sales and help grow your business.

Coming soon - a brand new group programme for Vas/ PAs/ Marketeers and social media managers who want to upskill themselves with the knowledge and confidence to get the PR results for their clients.

This is for anyone who’s asked by clients to “do a bit of PR” for them, who has maybe dabbled before but doesn’t feel confident offering it as a standalone service, or who’s said yes and is now feeling a bit overwhelmed and wondering how to deliver.

We’ll be looking at a strategic approach that actually delivers what your clients need, the OR routes that will be right for them, how to actually do it, as well as boundaries, monetising it and delivering without over-servicing.

I’ve had so many conversations with people since I’ve launched my business who wanted to know if my DIY PR membership is right for them to service their clients and it isn’t really - so I’ve created a new thing that is and I’m excited to get going with this!

I think I’ve entered what I’m calling my “feisty era”. I’m done with worrying, overthinking and second guessing. I’m not sitting back anymore and waiting for the good shizzle to happen to me, because it doesn’t work that way.

Doing the things that scare you makes them less scary.

Today I did a thing that I did last year and was soooo nervous about it then- today I did it again and was just full of excitement about it. And it was a joy- like it was last year.

I spent the day university teaching this year’s entrepreneur incubator how to use PR (for free!!) to get their businesses out there and talked about by the right people in the right places. (They were amazed that it’s free- that’s the beauty about PR!)

I did the session last year and was so nervous about doing it- but this year I knew what to expect and knew I would be meeting a brilliant bunch of exciting entrepreneurial young people who are making strides in their industries.

So my learning here is to do the things that scare you- because they become less scary when you’ve actually done them and they can create the most brilliant opportunities when you least expect them.

The future’s looking good if this generation has anything to do with it (thank god!!)
