Okay there was a little bit of a line so I couldn't get everything out today, but I got several done including the monitors for Mrs H and Mary. I'll be going back to the Post Office tomorrow and I won't have to deal with going on a lunch break because it's Saturday so everything else should be done. I'm going to try and figure out what tracking numbers I have so far and message people individually. I'm also going to try and see if the trophy company has any tracking numbers for me for the 1st place trophies.

Post Office Update

I went today during lunch but the line was too long and I had to return to work before I could get to the counter. I'm guessing people are trying send things out on their lunch breaks before the holiday weekend. As long as it isn't at the beginning or at the end of my shift I can take my lunch break whenever I like. So tomorrow I will go back at a different time, like 2 or 3pm when it isn't lunch time so there should be less people or better yet no one there.

The strike causing forced overtime is winding down so I should be able to actually take a lunch break and get to the Post Office tomorrow. I'll keep you updated.

Covid Update

We took our Covid tests and they're negative so our quarantine is officially over!!!

I will get to the Post Office as soon as I can and will update everyone from there.

Good afternoon everyone,

Apologies for the continued delay, I haven't forgotten about any of you. We were contacted by our daughter's pediatrician at 11pm after my last post that her lab results came back and that she tested positive for Covid, so unfortunately I've been in quarantine with my family and wasn't able to make it to the Post Office.

Erik was kind enough to drop off some Covid tests for us, after our quarantine ends tomorrow we're going to take them. As long as they're negative and our quarantine can end I'll get to the Post Office as soon as possible. We do have a funeral this weekend, we're hoping to be negative so we can attend. If everything is good then that means the latest things will ship will be on an upcoming weekday next week. I'll go during a lunch break because I work before and after the local Post Office closes.

I don't want to wait until the following weekend. you guys have waited long enough. I have everything boxed up on the dining room table, I just need to be able to actually get to the Post Office. Currently we're dealing with a strike so its possible that I might not be allowed to leave during my lunch break Monday or Tuesday, but I think by Wednesday enough overtime will occur to let me get there but my first choice will be going Monday to the Post Office. One way or another I'll post Monday if I was able to get to the Post Office and if not if I'll know by then If I can go Tuesday or Wednesday. Assuming I'll get tracking numbers for everything I'll message everyone individually their tracking number or numbers.

Good afternoon everyone,

A couple of updates.

The first place trophies never made there way to us, so we had to wait on a shipping claim so the trophy place would give us a credit to rebuy the trophies.

Tomorrow we're going to send everything else out mail and email to the addresses we were given.

We got the credit today for the first place trophies so we'll post another update when we receive them to send out. We were hoping to mail the trophies and prizes together but it'll have to be separate for the first place winners.

I'll put a post on here tomorrow after we get back from the Post Office and as I mentioned before when the new first place trophies finally come in we'll post an update and send them out.

With how backed up we've been and things that are going to be coming up, we're going to skip the film festival this year and open for entries again for 2023. As we get more information we'll let everyone know.
