Wij hebben het droevige nieuws vernomen dat Bruno Wouters is overleden op 27/04/2025.
Bruno was regisseur/animator van de allereerste S.O.I.L.-film The End Again (1992).
Behalve een kunstenaar die in de animatiewereld nog lang zal herinnerd worden, was Bruno ook een heel goede vriend van ons. Hij heeft enorm veel voor ons betekend en we zullen hem missen.

We have received the sad news that Bruno Wouters passed away on 27/04/2025.
Bruno was the director/animator of the very first S.O.I.L. film The End Again (1992).
Besides being an artist who will be remembered for a long time, Bruno was also a very good friend of ours. He meant a lot to us and we will miss him.

Finally, Nayola will have its Belgian release in two weeks! In the Lumière cinemas in Mechelen, Brugge and Antwerpen, the film will be screened for the first time on wednesday october 11th.

You can visit the Lumière websites for the exact hours and other dates, and to buy your tickets.

We're glad the Belgian public can finally enjoy this film we worked so long and hard on! ❤️

Nayola will be part of the Animated Feature Competition in Ottawa Animation Film Festival in Canada Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF) 🤩🤩🤩 The Festival beggins in September and is one of the major Animation Festivals in the world. It is such an honor for us!
So far Nayola has been selected for 47 festivals and won 16 awards. The journey of our feature film fills us with pride 🧡

announced Portugal's candidates for the OSCARS 2024 in the category of Best International Film 🏆
Nayola, by José Miguel Ribeiro, competes alongside magnificent films: “Légua”, by Filipa Reis and João Miller Guerra (Uma Pedra no Sapato); “Mal Viver” and “Viver Mal”, by João Canijo (Midas Filmes). What an honor!
The selection process will go through a voting period among the members of the Portuguese Film Academy, and the nominee for the Best International Film category at the 96th edition of the Oscars will be announced on September 14! ✨✨✨
