Sad to report that a Detroit Radio Icon has passed away. Lee Alan hosted a program on WPON in the early 2000s, but was known throughout the local airwaves going back to the late 1950s.

The Detroit native made his mark as an engaging air personality on AM stations WJBK and WKMH (which became WKNR) in the late ‘50s.
