Star Studded Cast Joins Europe In New Video For
The Latest Single The Cult Of Ignorance. The New
Album Come This Madness Out On September
25th Via Silver Lining Music.

June 3, 2026 – Europe release the hook-laden new single, “The Cult of Ignorance,” the second track unveiled from their highly anticipated forthcoming studio album, Come This Madness, set for release on September 25 via Silver Lining Music. Pre-orders are available now.

Driven by an instantly memorable hook and an anthemic chorus, “The Cult of Ignorance” combines undeniable catchiness with a message that resonates in today’s fast-moving world, delivering moments of reflection without losing its positive, feel-good energy.

As well as featuring Europe, the accompanying star-studded video showcases cameos from high-profile friends of the band, including renowned actress Malin Åkerman, former World No. 1 and multiple Grand Slam champion tennis player Stefan Edberg, astronaut Christer Fuglesang, Howling Pelle (The Hives), Mikael Åkerfeldt and Fredrik Åkesson (Opeth) and E-Type, alongside many other notable personalities from the world of music, film, fashion, sports and science.

“I love this track! It’s a straightforward rock anthem with lyrics reflecting the times we live in, written slightly tongue in cheek” says Europe’s founding member and frontman Joey Tempest. “Mic (keyboards) came to me with this song idea while on tour in South America - I thought it was crazy good! We finished it together and it’s become a real banger! The title was inspired by a phrase coined by author and biochemist Isaac Asimov. It reflects some of the negative tendencies emerging in our world today, though it is written in a slightly light-hearted tone.”

Europe’s new studio album, Come This Madness, signals a powerful new chapter for one of rock’s most enduring acts. Across songs like “One on One,” “The Cult of Ignorance,” and the title track “Come This Madness,” the band channel tension, truth, and raw energy into a record that feels both deeply personal and globally resonant.

Watch and listen to Europe’s recently released and celebrated single, “One on One,” here. The song is accompanied by a cinematic video featuring acclaimed actor Peter Stormare (Fargo, The Big Lebowski, Minority Report, 8MM, Armageddon) and directed by Patric Ullaeus.

Come This Madness was recorded at RMV Studio, the Stockholm-based recording facility founded by Benny Andersson and Ludvig Andersson. The album features special guests Tobias Forge (Ghost) and Mikael Åkerfeldt (Opeth) on backing vocals and was produced by acclaimed producer Tom Dalgety (Ghost, Rammstein, Pixies, The Cult, Opeth), who became a true creative force throughout the process, deeply embedded in the band’s writing and recording, shaping the album’s sound from the ground up. To bring the project to its final stage and complete their vision, the band turned to one of rock’s most respected recording legends Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Van Halen, Metallica, The Cult, Loverboy) to mix the record.

With Come This Madness, Europe deliver a landmark record that finds them fully realized and present, confronting the realities of the modern world with conviction and creativity. Building on the momentum surrounding the album's release, the band will also embark on an extensive run of live dates, including numerous festival appearances and a major tour to celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Final Countdown. Kicking off in Glasgow on September 30, “The Final Countdown 40th Anniversary Tour” promises to unite the legacy that defined them with the renewed energy, driving them forward today. NYHC Crossover Pioneers Cro-Mags Unleash New Single "Wired for Chaos" Out Now via BLKIIBLK

Today, CRO-MAGS, the iconic New York hardcore outfit fronted by Harley Flanagan, proudly make their BLKIIBLK debut with the new single, "Wired for Chaos." The new track marks CRO-MAGS' first new music in six years, giving fans a taste of what's to come.

Watch:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXK-nvpMwb0

"Wired for Chaos," which shares its name with last year's documentary about Harley, was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Code Orange, Cavalera Conspiracy). It was produced by Harley and Arthur and features drum phenom Greyson Nekrutman. The new single arrives alongside an official music video, available below.

On the new single "Wired for Chaos," Harley Flanagan comments:

“The new video for ‘Wired for Chaos’ reminds me of our first video, ‘We Gotta Know,’ which came out 40 years ago, except that it shows where the band is at now. I am proud to say that we are one of those few bands that have a multigenerational audience and bridge the gap between hard-core kids, metalheads, punks, skinheads, and more, as seen in the audience of this video, which was filmed at our shows on the past few tours. Not many bands have such a blended fan base besides Motörhead, and I am proud to say that we are following in that tradition."

Harley continues, "The song title ‘Wired for Chaos’ was taken directly from the recent documentary of the same name. It comes in with an aggressive metal intro befitting a UFC walk-in or a video game, then bursts into a more traditional HC thrash vibe before returning to a heavy beatdown at the end in an unmistakable CRO-MAGS style. The song is literally about being programmed and wired for chaos from birth, not just by environment, but by parents, trauma, childhood experiences, and the resulting PTSD that I

The history of Harley Flanagan and his band CRO-MAGS is integral not just to the history of hardcore, but to modern metal, rock, and punk itself. With roots stretching from the shadow of Warhol and the Velvets to CBGB’s hardcore matinees and L’Amour Brooklyn thrash-a-thons, all the way through current generations of punk and extreme metal, CRO-MAGS are the connective tissue. Just ask the likes of Dave Grohl, Green Day, and Turnstile. CRO-MAGS stand side by side with Black Sabbath, Motörhead, and Metallica as both an influence and a gamechanger.

The brainchild of a 14-year-old Harley Flanagan, CRO-MAGS began in 1981 while Flanagan was playing drums for The Stimulators. By 1982/83, he had recorded the primal CRO-MAGS demos — four songs that would become the blueprint for the seminal 1986 release, 'Age of Quarrel.' Initially a solo vision, Flanagan wrote and played all of the music himself. In 1985, alongside guitarist Parris Mayhew, vocalist John Joseph McGowan, and drummer Mackie Jayson, the genre-defining 'Age of Quarrel' demo was recorded. The full-length album followed in 1986, with Doug Holland of Kraut joining on second guitar.

Explosive both on and offstage, CRO-MAGS have had a tumultuous history, to put it mildly. Through multiple lineups, six studio albums beyond the original demos, and more than four decades of worldwide touring, CRO-MAGS remain one of the most iconic bands in American hardcore and metal. Today, the band is led by Flanagan on bass and vocals — a role he has held since 'Best Wishes' (1989). He remains the only member to appear on every CRO-MAGS release since the band’s founding.

Groove Metal Legends DevilDriver Unleash Video For Explosive
New Single Dead In The Water. New Album Set For Release On
July 10th, Via Na**lm Records.

"Let the fire rise, you were born for this, stay the course" —Dez Fafara

The fans and critics have made their voices heard, DEVILDRIVER have leveled it up! In anticipation their rabid new album, Strike and Kill, out July 10 via Na**lm Records, the groove metal legends first released the boisterous lead single "Dig Your Own Grave," cracking over 400k cross platform streams, becoming a mainstay on SXM's Liquid Metal, and stampeding up the Metal Contraband charts just a month after release.

If you know what's good for you, you'll pay close attention to the words on their next bloodthirsty ripper, "Dead In The Water" out today. This single is built upon cataclysmic blast beats and ornately blackened guitarmonies, delivering the good with vibrance and violence. Iconic frontman Dez Fafara's delivery remains venomous, galvanizing listeners with affirmations of perseverance and resilience in the face of adversity.

Dez on "Dead In The Water":
"This is one of the most positive songs I've ever written lyrically, coming from a very dark time straight into blinding light. I needed to empower others to do the same as I did, and tell them to 'stay the course,' life turns around if given the chance to flourish.

"The vibe musically on this is very old school DEVILDRIVER and the entire band is cracking hard here, if you're a long time listener you're gonna love this one! Enjoy!"

Following DEVILDRIVER's career defining double album Dealing With Demons Vols. 1 & 2 —with Vol. 1 sitting at #1 at metal radio for a triumphant 15 weeks, and Vol. 2 celebrated by internationally revered media like Metal Injection, Kerrang!, and Blabbermouth, who lauded "you can't stop the unstoppable"— the band sets out on a rabid hunt with Strike and Kill, holding the blade to your throat, and serving up that trademark DEVILDRIVER blend of melodeath elegance, blackened atmosphere, tectonic grooves, and Fafara's iconic visceral delivery.

Wasting no time, the album bursts open with the incendiary "Dig Your Own Grave," a flurry of assault rifle kicks and crunchy riffs encircle the listener casting them into the waiting abyss before transitioning into "Dead in the Water," showcasing the vibrant melodeath tapestries of master guitar duo Alex Lee and Gabe Mangold. "Sanctified In Scars" implements industrial pulsating beats and ethereal sonic textures, sanctifying Fafara's venomous voice with blackened tremolo excellence. The album’s title track "Strike and Kill" is a reconciliation of hardships and lessons learned, built upon the backs of blisteringly technical riffage and dizzyingly swift drumming by Davier Perez. Tracks like "In the Moonlight" and "Never Coming Home" wrap listeners in serenely blissful guitarmonies, elevating the brutality with elegance and emotion. "Ride or Die" unleashes pure metal inertia, pulling listeners in with unrelenting force. Exemplifying their technical edge with tracks like “Headed for the Fall” and "You’re just a Ghost," the band embraces mind-bendingly off-kilter patterns that spin listeners' heads. "Summoning Shadows" offers the albums longest respite from carnage, with textured acoustic guitars building tension before the band comes crashing back in with triumphant power. "Shut the Silence On" and "Oath of Iron" get super thrashy with their ballsy riffage and blast beats, before "All Bets are Off" brings things to a cataclysmic conclusion.

Wolf Hoffmann about "Fast as a Shark"

"This song was so much fun! We even re-recorded the intro in a Bavarian oompah style... a friend of mine lives in Bavaria, and he was in contact with one of those traditional Bavarian woodwind outfits, and they recorded the traditional German folk song 'Ein Heller und ein Batzen' for us, which was fantastic. We were lucky to get Phil Anselmo on vocals, Billy Sheehan on bass, and of course Kirk Hammett on guitar, which is amazing, and Mikkey Dee on drums, so that’s a pretty nice supergroup, isn't it?

Progressing through albums from their formative years, from I'm a Rebel (1980) to Eat the Heat (1989), ACCEPT present their songs with an all-new, all-star lineup, alongside the signature voice of Mark Tornillo and Wolf Hoffmann's unmistakable riffs. By enlisting a "Who's Who" of metal, no two songs on Teutonic Titans 1976-2026 are the same. Every track features a different combination of vocals, guitars, bass, and drums, giving each classic a fresh edge.

Tobias Forge delivers a commanding performance on the track "Save Us" (I'm a Rebel, 1980), joined by Ray Luzier on drums. Phil Anselmo, Kirk Hammett, and Mikkey Dee tear through the speed metal classic "Fast As A Shark" (Restless and Wild, 1982). "Balls to the Wall" surges with the powerful range of Metal God Rob Halford, alongside the guitar work of Matthias Jabs, while the reimagined "Love Child" is elevated by Billy Corgan and David Ellefson (both songs from Balls to the Wall, 1983).

Other guest stars on ACCEPT's extraordinary release include K. K. Downing, Bobby Blitz, Hansi Kürsch, Chris Jericho, Ralf Scheepers, Billy Sheehan, Ola Englund, and Jeff Loomis. The album also features a re-recording of "Hellhammer" (Eat the Heat, 1989), performed by ACCEPT's current lineup: Wolf Hoffmann, bassist Martin Motnik, guitarist Philip Shouse, and drummer Christopher Williams, joined by Jason McMaster on vocals.

Colorado Thrash Quartet Havok Officially Signs to BLKIIBLK. Band
Unleashes New Single "Fifth Generation Warfare"

Today, thrash metal powerhouse HAVOK are proud to announce they have officially signed to BLKIIBLK. Bringing in a new era to their prolific career and marking their BLKIIBLK debut, the band shares their new single, "Fifth Generation Warfare," alongside an official lyric video, available below.

Watch & Listen Here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqeKU0_xh78

On signing to BLKIIBLK, the band comments:

"We’re excited to sign with a new label that is hungry and eager to make a name for themselves, while still being led by a seasoned veteran. The music we’re releasing with BLKIIBLK is a continuation of HAVOK’s history of fast and tight heavy metal and we can’t wait for everyone to hear what we’ve been working on."

On the new single, they add:

"'Fifth Generation Warfare' is the first release with our new guitarist, Brett Rechtfertig. The song showcases a wide variety of HAVOK sounds; incorporating guitar harmonies, punk attitude, pummeling drums, bass lines that deviate from the guitar parts, and a message about a gnarly topic, while still leaning into optimism. A lot of HAVOK lyrics discuss negative topics, but we always try to put a positive spin on things."

Mike Gitter, Global Head of A&R for Frontiers Label Group and BLKIIBLK Label Head, comments on the signing:

"BLKIIBLK is proud to chart a new chapter for thrash metal as an international force with HAVOK. [HAVOK leader] David Sanchez continues to reenergize his music with the ferocity, technicality, and incisive lyrical word-fare that makes HAVOK not just accolytes but masters of their steely game."

In addition to the new single, HAVOK recently announced tours in the United States, Latin America, and Europe. The carnage will begin with a pair of headline shows kicking off June 1st in Omaha, NE. Two days later on June 3rd in Detroit, MI, HAVOK joins up with Killswitch Engage, Machine Head, and Iron Reagan for a US tour. A complete list of dates can be found below.

We can only move forward when we understand what came before. HAVOK possess an airtight grasp on the fundamentals of thrash, enabling them to usher the genre into the fire of the future. The Colorado quartet lock and load throat-slicing guitars with breakneck rhythms and venomously vitriolic vocals. After piling up tens of millions of streams and earning acclaim from Metal Hammer, Loudwire, Consequence of Sound, and many more, the band ignited their first independent release, the ‘New Eyes’ EP, in 2024.

HAVOK have never stopped pushing forward without apology. Thus far, they’ve unleashed a series of fan favorite albums, including ‘Burn’ [2009], ‘Time Is Up’ [2011], ‘Unnatural Selection’ [2013], ‘Conformicide’ [2017], and ’V’ [2020]. The latter represented a critical high watermark with Metal Hammer proclaiming, “HAVOK have nailed 21st century thrash.”

Along the way, the group also lit up stages on tour around the world with the likes of Megadeth, Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies, Testament, Killswitch Engage, Exodus, Sepultura, Kreator, Children Of Bodom, and many more.

Kickstarting this next era with worldwide touring and new music coming in 2026, HAVOK has enabled itself to move at a prolific pace. In the end, HAVOK are leveling up and taking thrash

Distant Release New Single Rat Torture. The new single and video, is a critical reflection on our daily digital lives.

"'Rat Torture' is about a suffocating descend into a world where the illusion of freedom is maintained by the glowing screens and empty validation. The song paints humanity as willing prisoners, rats in a cage they worship. Every scroll is a mechanized ritual where identity is performed instead of lived. While there might be still human beneath the glow, it's too numb to break free," says the band.

DISTANT are keeping things busy and their grim, ultra-heavy Deathcore on the road. After already touring Europe with Sylosis they just finished another US run including several shows with In Flames and Thrown.

DISTANT have become one of the prominent faces of European Deathcore. Melding together brutal death metal, slam, noise and beatdown with a hyper-dissonant orchestra of impending doom, they've come eons since their origins as metalcore obsessed friends in Rotterdam and Bratislava.

BRUCE DICKINSON ‘TEARS OF THE DRAGON AWARD-WINNING NEW VIDEO SHOT IN BRAZIL

In September 2025, after performing at The Town Festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Bruce Dickinson joined with directors Leo Liberti and Antoine de Montremy, to shoot an epic new film to accompany his re-working of the classic track ‘Tears Of The Dragon’, which features on last year’s re-imagined album More Balls To Picasso originally released in 1994.

Taking over a disused brewery in São Paulo with a full film crew, Bruce and his House Band of Hell, were accompanied by the Almai orchestra, conducted by Antonio Teoli, to create a dramatic video for the beloved song. Teoli and the orchestra featured in the studio re-recording of the track, adding a whole new dimension to the atmospheric ballad.

Their performance in the video, alongside Bruce and Brazilian ballet dancer Renata Bardazi, has created a striking and emotionally charged film that has already been shown at a number of film festivals around the world, resulting in prestigious nominations and awards. It has now been released and is available to watch HERE.

Bruce comments, “When we reimagined the whole More Balls To Picasso album we always wanted to do an orchestral version of ‘Tears Of The Dragon’. Antonio Teoli scored it and we recorded it, then we called up the film-maker Leo Liberti who previously shot a load of live stuff for me in Brazil that was fabulous. We found this amazing location, an enormous old school brewery that was almost like a renaissance building, and we made up the orchestra so they looked slightly zombified. All the HBOH band members are in the video and I gave them all instruments to play. The whole thing was brilliant madness. Leo also came up with the idea of having a ballet dancer interpreting the song, and she was amazing, poetic, and that adds an incredible extra-emotional dimension to the video.”

The new video has already won Best Music Video at a host of international Film Festivals, with further official nominations awaiting results. They are:
