This has been a filmmaking journey with ups and downs like no other. While marked by a profound tragedy, it’s important to note that a cut was signed off by Mark before his death.

The movie has got his fingerprints all over it – it’s a thrill ride, but also a suburban drama big on heart and filled with his wonderful sense of humour.

We can’t wait to share it with you.

Blind Panic sounds phenomenal – literally.

We’ve just completed the sound design, dialogue editing, and the original score for Blind Panic, and the transformation has been electric. From the buzz of a fly to the creak of a floorboard, every sonic detail of our movie has been meticulously crafted by the brilliant Phil Burton at Undergroundsound. Their work brings every dripping tap, gasp, gunshot, punch, and scream to life!

Layered on top is a hauntingly beautiful score by composer, conductor, and multi-instrumentalist Brendan Galvin, whose music elevates the tension and emotion in ways we can’t wait for you to experience.

We are confident the sound and music are true to Mark’s vision for the film.

Next up: VFX and colour grading. The finish line is in sight – and so is our red carpet moment.

This is an update to let you know that Blind Panic will be released in the second half of 2025. We look forward to sharing all the details when we can.

In the meantime, I have decided to try my hand at blogging and am in the process of creating a new website. These blogs will be a little nostalgic for a while because I thought I’d start at the very beginning – feel free to read on about the process of writing Blind Panic. (Matthew)
