FIRST LADY SENATOR OLUREMI TINUBU VISITS QATAR.

In Doha,Qatar ,Nigeria's First lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu ,visited the Qatar National Library ,which is a tone of symbol of knowledge, Culture, and innovation housing over two Millions books ,and embodying the Vision of 'Free Access knowledge ".

The library is an inspiring model for the kind of learning and Cultural infrastructure Nigeria aims to develop.

The First lady noted that Nigeria's National Library once completed, will not only serve as a repository of knowledge but also as an mordern digital hub that preserves the Nations rich hertage while fostering a Culture of learning among the youth .It will stand as a beacon for interllectual growth and National pride..

The visit also precedes an impotant engagement with the Qatar Foundation where discussions will focus on forging meaniful partnership to address Nigetia's out of school challenges and enhance almajiri education System.

This Collaboration reflects a Shared Commitment to empowering children through Education and ensuring No Nigerian Child left behind.

TINUBU ORDER MILITARY TO FLUSH OUT OF KWARA STATE FORESTS

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made a frantic efforts to see that the Bandits flush out Kwara State Forests and its environs.

The Nigeria Military had deployed a full brigade and heavy equipments across parts of Kwara South and Kwara North following directive ,from president Tinubu to get the state rid of bandits from operating in the State forests .

To affirm heavy protection to the affected places,the Ekiti Police Command intesfied Security measure across major entry and exit points following recent attacks in neighbouring Kwara and Kogi States by Bandits.

According to a Statement issued in Ilorin by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye ,Troops has begun Operation in communities around Oke Ode,and Babanla in Ifelodun local councils.

Efforts put in place by the Military yielding positive results,With the advancement in aggressive operation in the affected Areas against Bandits in Kwara State leading to the successful rescue of the three kidnapped victims at different locations on Saturday 11 October 2925.

The rescued people are Mrs Oluwabusayo Taiwo aged 25,and her 3 years Old Son Taiwo Irayinmide e ,who were among the Victims abducted at Oke Ode on 28 September 2025.

The rescued victims are currently receiving treatment at PETROL based sick Bay,and will be reunited with their Families members in due course.

The Commander ,the 22Armured Brigade ,Brigadier General Ez,era Barkins ,Comended the troops for their swift response and professionalism ,while reaffairming that Nigerians Army will remains committed towards ensuring the Safety, and Security of all Citizens and will Continue to intesfy operation aimed at restoring peace and Stability across Kwara States and its environs.

PROFESSOR JOAS OJO AMUPITAN IS THE NEW INEC CHAIRMAM.

Council of state at their meeting on Thursday approved INEC nomination presented to it by the president Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Chairman of independent National Electoral commission (INEC).The name approved was Prof.Joas Ojo Amupitan ,who will be administering the INEC affairs for the first five years.

Amupitan a 58 years old ,born in April 25 ,1967 ,in his home town ,Ayetoro Gbede ,Ijemu LGA ,Kogi State..The learned Professor is a dual product of Polytechnic and University. Educations.

He graduated from Kwara state Polytechnic ,Ilorin in 1984,and University of Jos (UNIJOS) Where he obtained LLB in 1987,and called to Bar in 1988 .
Haven't completed Doctoral research in law ,he bagged Doctoral degree in Law in 2007.
Joas Ojo is a legal luminary specialised in Company law,law of Evidence, Cooperate Governance ,and Privatisation law.

Prior to his new appointment, he Started his academic career in 1989 ,and rose to Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration before his nomination as the Nation's inec head,and approved by the Council of State.

Prof.Joash Ojo served the Nation in various capacity credibly, Chairman, Committee of Dean and Directors(2012-2014) Dean Faculty of Law (2008-2014),Head of Public law (2006-2008).

Amupitan other Academic careers include ,Pro vice Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council ,Joseph Ayo Babalola University ,Osun State..Prof.Joas Ojo Amupitan legal experience is noticeable within the Nation legal System, he was Covered with the highest legal title of the land "Senior Advocate of Nigeria:(SAN)September 2014.

PROF.MUHAMUUD YAKUBU BOWS OUT OF SERVICES.

In What could be seen as major development and the most treding national issues in the Country, Prof.Muhamuud Yakubu Stepped aside as Chairman of Nigeria independent electoral commission INEC,after serving his Father land as electoral Umpire for complete two decades .
May Agbamuche- Mbu ,who is the National Electoral Commissioner in the establishment was handed over to, and assumed office immediately as the acting chair person to the Commission. until substantive appointed is made by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu .

However to mark his exeat from services a befitting Valedictory services Conducted in his honour at his last meeting with Resident Electoral Commissioners at the Commissioner's headquarters Abuja.

In latest developments, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has given him good credit for his outstanding performance while serving the Commission in chairman capacity.
This remark was made by President hours after the former INEC boss bowed out from the Commission and handed over to May Agbamuche.

IS Former President Good luck Ebele Jonathan to answer the ADC call option to come back and contest 2027 Presidential race.?

Members of the ADC National Working Committee who spoke in a state of anonymity because they were not authorised to discuss the matter publicly confirmed to the news men that the e x President was considering the platform.

In recent times ,there have been reports severally suggesting that former President may contest the 2027 election against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu .
Although Jonathan has yet to make an official Statement regarding his intention over it.

Public opinions remains divided on his eligibility, especially in the light of the 2018 Constitutional amendment that has any one who has been sworn in twice as President or governor from Contesting again.

It was gathered within the ADC Leadership that his meeting with Coalition leaders was largely centre d on 2027 Presidential elections.

"It is the only credible alternative platform ,and we are working with him and many others whom we expect to join the party".

A source revealed that Jonathan might join the ADC If the party agreed to give him the Presidential ticket unopposed by former vice president Atiku Abu Bakar and Peter Obi .

"And if the likes of Obi and Atiku will agree to a consensus arrangements and Support him as the party's Candidates.

Remarkably ,the ADC,Youth leader Balarabe Rufai ,Stated that Jonathan's discussion will make centered in future.

The NNPC boss Engnr Bashir Bayo Ojulari,has declared that the company is" under attacks"by forces opposed to it's on-going transformation done.The NNPC boss cries out and vows that reforms will not stop ,but shall continue unabated.

This revelation was made while hosting leader of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN)at the NNPPC Towers in Abuja ,stressed that the reforms will continue despite mounting pressures.
