Celebration of the Youth Activities Day of the Community Youth Initiative for Development today, October 30, 2021 at the office of the Bassa Youth Caucus in Buchanan. On the left is the founder, Christopher Yarwoe and on the right is Assistant Superintendent for Development, Hon. Flee Clay. Hon. Glay served as motivational speaker for the Youth. He spoke on "voluntarism ". The Development Superintendent told the youth that voluntarism can make them rise from grass to grace, heroes and heroines based on the experiences they would bring on board for a job. He outlined his voluntary services with the Youth Service Program by the Ministry of Youth and Sports under former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf regime, the U S Embassy Peace Corp program and the hardships he passed through for his education. The certificate he obtained from the Youth Service Program signed by former president Sirleaf and his education documents qualified him at the Liberian Senate confirmation program in 2018 for the assistant superintendent for development job he occupies today, Hon Glay said.
He urged the Youth to keep on the spirit of voluntarism as he promised the local authorities support towards the project the youths are undertaking to have the city and its surroundings clean.
