Another favorite from 2024 🎀

Sourced this beautiful desk from the Facebook Marketplace and painted it a pretty white, naturally.

Other FB Marketplace finds in this space include :

chairs that I’ve been reupholstering with bow fabric from Danika Herrick, Inc.
And what you can’t Swedish chest is hidden in a corner that you can’t see here.

Most of the things I’ve found, I’ve found at a really reasonable price and sometimes it takes just a little bit of paint and polish to bring the vision I have for the pieces to life ✨

I’m sorry that it has been so long since my last post. I mainly post on Instagram and my fb won’t connect to it any more 🤍

I hope you all have been well and enjoying summer. I have a small surgery tomorrow morning to prepare myself for starting radiation treatment in July. Hanging in there and trying to push forward.

Thank you all for the love and support, and messages that you have given me over the last few days since sharing my cancer diagnosis and journey so far.

I love to be able to be able to bring something pretty and positive to the world, so I will continue to keep things light here but will also be happy to share updates along the way 🤍

Friends & family, I have been more silent on here even more than usual and that is because I have been privately battling stage 3 colorectal cancer since after Christmas.

It came as a complete shock with no family history at the age of 32, and with four littles one at home to take care of on top, the news was devastating.

I’ve been in treatment with chemotherapy since January. I’ve been getting care at Georgetown Univesity and have been so lucky to have the care from all of the unbelievably kind and loving nurses and staff.

My hope & goal was to get though this process & then share with you what I’ve been through but I’m not sure when this journey will end yet.

I have always wanted to bring a positive light and create a positive outlet for myself and others.

I have been blessed in many ways in life and through this journey but things continue to get more challenging for my family and I.

We decided to create a personal page on caringbridge.com where I’ll share more of my story to bring awareness to this disease in young people and If you would like to help in anyway you can do so there too🤍
