Our founder Zandile Blay is seeking a NYC based intern to work as her personal assistant!
Duties include:
- Light administrative tasks (email maintenance, occasional legwork errands, organizing ZB's calendar)
-Act as liaison between contacts and ZB (via email and occasionally via phone)
-Limited project management (based on person's aptitude)
Position is unpaid but offers a $250 stipend. This is a remote position which allows flexibility and requires only 20% local travel which is covered by stipend. Candidate must be responsible, proactive and diligent.

About Zandile:
Zandile Blay is a journalist and entrepreneur. Currently, Blay is Fashion and Beauty Journalism Professor at Syracuse University. In addition, she is founder and director at Blay Digital Media, a six-year old media consultancy which provides press, editorial and social media strategy for clients like Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs, Paper Magazine and more. Blay was founding Editor-in-Chief of HELLO! Nigeria Magazine, where she re-positioned the decades-old, global brand for the Nigerian market. Formerly, she was Digital Fashion Editor for ESSENCE Magazine, Women’s Fashion Editor for Paper Magazine and Readers Editor at SEVENTEEN Magazine. Her work has appeared in Complex Magazine, New York Magazine online, InStyle Magzine, Teen People Magazine, The New York Sun, The Daily News and America Online, amongst others. As a leader in the online journalism space, she founded the British Vogue recognized fashion news blog, The Blay Report, and the Guardian recognized Africa Style Daily. Blay earned her Bachelor of Science in Journalism at the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University, where she teaches today. She earned her Masters in Fashion from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. She was named on EBONY Magazine’s inaugural Power List in 2010. She was Africa Fashion International's 'Trend Communicator of the Year' for 2013. She is a 20012-2013 finalist for the Neiman Journalism Fellowship at Harvard University.
Blay was born in Ghana and is based between Lagos and New York City.
