This record is the first full length with new songs by SEEIN’ RED since we re-started the band in 2018 after a hiatus of six and a half years. Recorded in a 3 hour session in 2021, mixed in 2022 and mastered and released in 2024.
The record sleeve of “REFUSE RESIST” is reading ANTIFA all over it because we live in a time that far-right politicians and parties are gaining more power and actually winning national elections, as the PVV did in our country. This record is a reflection of this swing to the far-right. The contours of fascism we see right now is a form of capitalism in acute crisis and decay. It relies on hyper-nationalism, open violence, state terror, bigotry, injustice and extreme racist scapegoating. We are under attack and we have to stand up and fight back! Most if not all the lyrics on this record are dealing with this fight back, working class politics and the runaway acceleration of exploitation of this capitalist society. It’s a fu***ng political record and a clenched fist salute to the underground DIY punk community.

Hardcore punk from Philadelphia, PA, the Brood was formed on a sweltering day in the summer of 2011 by four maladjusted humans who love playing loud angry music in dilapidated locales - because that is what punks do. Previous releases include the If Tomorrow Comes demo, Defective 7”, and October Dreams tape. In 2018, a local ripper joined their ranks on second guitar, bolstering their sound as a burly five-piece juggernaut. For the Dark is their debut full length, recorded in the beginning of 2023 at Permanent Hearing Damage. This album reflects their fully honed attack, sharpened over the years in the practice space and on stage. These 12 songs combine blazing speed with pummeling mid-paced ragers, lyrics that drip with bitter fury, and an atmosphere of creeping dread. Influences include UK82, Poison Idea, Die Kreuzen, The Stalin, and Totalitar. Members of former/current bands: Lost Cause, Witch Hunt, Endless Nightmare, Caustic Christ, Mischief Brew, The Pist and The Dissidents.

Sullest’s Self-Titled is a deeply personal and introspective look back at the myths and legends of youth that we try to carry with authenticity into adulthood. A sentimental and self-actualizing reflection from your core memories throughout all the different versions of the person you become. On this album, Sullest rejects the idea that the human experience makes you jaded as you age. They chose rather to own their short-comings, effect changes where they can, and not turn into sh*tty adults.
