OFFICIAL STATEMENT

I, Comr. Shuaibu Abubakar Bk Bama, the Founder And Coordinator of Attom Movement For Change Borno State, wish to inform the general public and all our supporters that I were among the first people to accept and support ADC in Borno State, and likewise, I Was now among the first to withdraw from the party in Borno State.

This decision was not taken lightly.
It is based on a careful investigation and deep concern about the current situation of the party at the national level.

Presently, ADC is facing serious internal crises, including:
The existence of three factional national chairmen, each claiming leadership.
About four different court cases affecting the party’s legitimacy.
The ongoing INEC recognition issues, which, if not resolved before the stipulated deadline, could render the party invalid for elections, including all its structures and candidates.

We must remember a similar situation that happened in Zamfara State under APC, where due to unresolved internal party issues, the party lost the opportunity to participate fully in elections.

Furthermore, there are additional legal challenges in court that directly affect the party’s future participation in elections.

Let us also take note:
If a political party fails to meet certain electoral requirements — such as properly fielding candidates at the grassroots level — it may be barred from participating in subsequent elections.
Based on these realities, we have decided to take a new political direction.

There is another political party currently being considered, and many of our members are preparing to join it collectively.

Distinguished people of Borno State, men and women, youths and elders, I extend my heartfelt greetings and appreciation for your continuous support and prayers.
Today, I am honored to formally declare my intention to contest for the position of Governor of Borno State, with a strong commitment to delivering sustainable development, lasting peace, and prosperity for every citizen of our great state.
Borno is a land of rich history, culture, and resilient people. Despite the challenges we have faced, the time has come for us to unite and rebuild a stronger, safer, and more prosperous Borno for ourselves and future generations.
My Key Priorities Include:
Security and Stability:
Strengthening collaboration with security agencies and implementing community-based security initiatives to safeguard lives and property across the state.
Quality Education:
Building and renovating schools, supporting teachers, and providing modern learning materials to ensure our children receive quality education.
Healthcare Improvement:
Upgrading healthcare facilities, ensuring the availability of essential medicines, and recruiting qualified health professionals to serve our communities.
Youth Empowerment and Job Creation:
Creating employment opportunities, supporting small and medium enterprises, and providing vocational and digital skills training for our youths.
Agriculture and Economic Growth:
Supporting farmers with modern equipment and financial assistance, and expanding market access to boost economic development.
My dear people of Borno, this journey of transformation belongs to all of us. Together, we can choose accountable leadership, integrity, and purposeful governance.
With your support and by the grace of God, we shall build a Borno State that stands as a model of progress, unity, and prosperity.
