Today we’re beyond stoked to share two new Simon Joyner & The Nervous Star releases! These ones are extremely sick…but as a few of the titular ‘Nervous Stars’ ourselves, we’re definitely very biased 🫢 We’ll let you guys decide.

First off, we have a 7 inch featuring our rendition of Bob Dylan’s “I Dreamed I Saw St. Augustine” and Lou Reed’s “I’m Set Free”. We’ve been cooking on this one for quite some time, and we’re so incredibly proud of how they turned out. All the art and layout for this release was crafted by our dear friend Tanner of .

And second, a CD-R with 6 more Lou & Bob tunes! We had so much fun working on the 7” project and the process just naturally kept asking for more. Just listened again this morning, and wow…such a fun batch of tunes.

Caleb and me are going on tour with and friends in just a few weeks. For Bandcamp Friday and the next few weeks (but especially *today* because it helps a ton), all the proceeds for these two offerings (+ a tour exclusive t-shirt) will go towards van rental, gas, and any necessary hotels. These shows are a series of intimate gatherings at various secret locations. They are purposefully small, intended to curate one-of-a-kind audio/visual art explorations. By limiting capacity and using domestic spaces, artists and listeners are invited to participate in unconventional ways.

This night, with these people, in this space will never happen again…

Happy new year! Caleb has two really great shows lined up this month!

1st in Tucson on 1/15 with some Moone fam , and the always killer at Bar Crisol.

2nd in Phoenix on 1/17 with , and at Linger Longer Lounge. This show was put together by our dear pal .

Grateful to everyone putting these on and the spaces hosting them.

Micah and I are in CA the next couple days backing ! tonight and tomorrow.

Simon’s new LP “Coyote Butterfly” is really something else. Gut wrenchingly beautiful. We feel so much gratitude to be able to live in these songs for a few days with such sweet people!

Very happy to share the release of this Caleb Dailey (w/ Seth & Micah) set @ CIBO earlier this year! It’s a cool ass proper bootleg out now on the incredible ! Tanner (of GeekUSA) recorded, designed and assembled this whole thing. We love Tanner and his label. His artist vision and approach to his label is so incredibly cool. He is the real deal! Very stoked on how these CD-Rs turned out, and couldn’t be more stoked to finally share them! Head to the link in our bio to grab a copy from them! ✨

We couldn’t be more stoked to share our dear friend, Michael Krassner’s first ever KRAZFEST! It will take place on November 16th at none other than The Carriage House (at Cibo)!

KRAZFEST will rep a little taste of Michael’s sphere of relationships, artistry and beauty! We couldn’t be more proud to be a part of this thing.

It’s tough to put into words just how special is to both of us. He has become one of our dearest friends. His thoughtfulness in all that he does inspires us. His ability to cut away the fluff and get to the core in art and friendship is a mystery. And his drive to create and curate beauty encourages us.

Michael is a legend in our midst…

Tickets are $25 online, or $30 at the door. It’s gonna rule so much!

Today, Aquarium Drunkard, shares a new offering of their Lagniappe Sessions, and it features me (link in our bio)! Almost a decade ago, I was introduced to the series by way of Little Wings’ incredible cover of Promise (Lil’ Wayne). It was a revelation. Now here we are sharing 3 songs that I’ve been able to live in for the better part of the year. I am honored to be a part of such a fun world has spoke into existence. Massive thank you to and Justin Gage! I’m glowing.

I’m so very proud of how these songs turned out, and am eternally grateful for all the friends that surrounded me and made them really come to life.
