I’ve been getting a lot of messages about my upcoming VHS releases, so here’s a more formal announcement post!
All three tapes will come in professionally printed classic cardboard vintage style sleeves with full color tape labels. The films have all been cropped to 4x3 pan & scan for maximum trashy lofi enjoyment.
Where The Dead Go To Die & When Black Birds Fly will both have 2 different covers limited to 50 copies each. Each tape will have the full feature film plus a variety of extras and stuff to fill up every second of the 2-hour tapes.
Tape number 3 is called “Saturday Mourning Sickness” and will only have 1 cover option, but it’s also the only tape to have the rare bottom flap! It’s a 2-hour compilation of all my animated shorts, music videos, work-in-progress clips, childhood films and other weird stuff. I’m calling this a “chaos tape” because I’m going to shuffle the order of the films every time it’s dubbed so each tape will be semi-unique!
These tapes will only be available on my website (http://www.screamerclauz.com/store) starting September 16th. They will be available separately or in a bundle for a slight discount. I will not be doing pre-orders on them because I don’t want the responsibility of holding onto people’s money for the next couple of months, but I will post again when they are ready to go!
If you’re not interested in old dead analogue formats, fear not, they are also coming out on the slightly more popular dying format Blu-ray on the same day and are currently up for pre-order on Amazon, Walmart, Grindhouse Video, Deep Discount and probably other places people buy discs.
