Submissions might now be closed, but we are excited; because, with a record-breaking 397 entries to the Heroines Women's Writing Prize, our cauldron is full!
The shortlisted entries will all be published in Volume 6 of the Heroines Anthology - our special witchcraft-themed edition.

CLOSING JUNE 30th! The Heroines Anthology reimagines women in myth, fairy tale, folklore or legend & tells women's lost histories and untold stories. The Heroines Women's Writing Prize of $500 will be awarded to the best piece of writing, either a poem or a piece of short fiction, on the theme of WITCHCRAFT. Witches to medicine women, mystics and herbalists, spells and enchantments, shapeshifters and familiars, covens and crones: we invite you to submit your poems and short fiction on witchcraft, remembered or imagined, to Heroines Anthology. https://www.writingtheheroine.com/heroines-anthology-submissions
