Wow… Gavin Newsom really lost it this time.
“Pulled troops away from their families and civilian lives…” Forget for a second if they signed up for that or not. In any emergency, they are getting pulled away from their civilian lives. I got pulled away from mine for 9 months in 2ØØ3, then again in 2ØØ4 for 3 weeks over Saddam’s “non-existent” chem weaps (it was supposed to be 4 to 6 days but some of them broke loose and the s**t hit the fan), for a couple months in 2ØØ5 for A School, and finally for 2 weeks in 2ØØ9 for PSU Security Training (that my Camp Legune sign photo). And I had it EASY- Nat Guard gets called up for wildfires and floods all the fu***ng time, and those are usually a lot more then a couple months (9 months has happened, but 3 is more common).
“The remaining guardsmembers continue without a mission.” The mission is to protect federal properties and personnel, and to be blunt I don’t blame Donny in the least for NOT protecting anything else, nor doing anything else.
“And without any hopes of returning to help their communities.” Half of them go home every damned night, I wasn’t able to do that when I was called up… I got to sleep in my apartment every other night, at least these guys are able to sleep in their homes 5 nights a week.
Gavin, get the f**k out of here. Please, run for President- This lie alone should be enough to destroy your run. Say it under oath and I’ll sign a criminal complaint to PERJURY.

Before the last victim had been found, this tiktoker recorded and uploaded a racist rant about how people (and specifically Hispanic people) should not aid in looking for Camp Mystic victim of the Texas floods (and by INTENDED extension any white victim of the floods). When I first heard about it I thought it was an outright lie, “Nobody would say THAT…” Well, Sades_World8 DID say it.
The absolute shock of absolutely nobody, she deleted this openly racist rant. To my minor surprise she deleted here entire account. I’m 75% sure she’ll reappear in about 6 months.

This is par for the course in Britian; Massage the reports so as to show the version of the truth the government wants seen, coverup anything that counters the narrative. Case in point, a graph that says 55% of abusers are whit British shows only those CONVICTED of the crimes in question, not the suspect information.
