In this deeply emotional image, we see 92-year-old country music icon Willie Nelson covering his face with both hands, his eyes welling with tears. Just moments before, the crowd had given him an eight-minute standing ovation — a thunderous roar of love, gratitude, and respect for a lifetime spent giving the world his music and soul.

Meet Ashley, the visionary founder of The Rockin' Chair — a growing accessibility platform reshaping the way disabled music lovers experience live events and travel.

Born in 1996 and living with Muscular Dystrophy, Ashley has navigated life in a motorized wheelchair for as long as she can remember. Along the way, she’s faced additional challenges like scoliosis, malnutrition, and oxygen support — but none of that has slowed her down.

A proud high school and college graduate, Ashley lives life at full volume. Her love for music runs deep, and in 2014, she fell in love with the electric world of live concerts. That passion quickly grew into a purpose: making music and travel more accessible for people with disabilities.

Out of that mission came The Rockin’ Chair — a dynamic accessibility platform helping disabled travelers and concertgoers find reliable, clear information without having to dig through outdated or vague resources. Ashley’s goal? Break down barriers so everyone, regardless of ability, can have a rockin’ good time.
