Welcome back to day 29 of me posting everyday until my post op books are full for the rest of 2025.
•
When you had to send your mastectomy client a photo of how “they” should be taking her blood pressure at midnight ‼️
•
She had to recover at a hospital, for a few days, this time due to the type of procedure being done.
•
I told her I’d still be available virtually if she had any questions or concerns. She’s recovered with me more than 3 times she’s family now.
•
Well her first night the overnight she called me panicked because the staff didn’t properly label her door that she can NOT have any right arm procedures done as she’s a mastectomy recipient. They were taking her blood pressure on the arm she had literally just had operated on‼️
•
I could hear “them” confused in the background fusing and stressing my client out even more. So I took a picture of where the blood pressure cuff should be placed, hopped up out my bed, threw my bonnet off and went up to the hospital to make sure it was done right.
•
I don’t think this counts as a rescue because she was coming to me anyway. 🤷🏽‍♀️

For optics, we’re keeping it at day 23. We’re not starting over, the habit has been established… But my teeth 😭😩

Day 21 of posting everyday until my post op recovery books are full for the rest of 2025.

Today i decided to share photos I captured while working at a private owned plastic surgery center.
•
I talk a lot about all that I do but seldom show it all. I usually stick to the one thing…care but I don’t think I’d be as affective as a post op recovery provider without this season of my life.
•
I got see many cosmetic procedures performed both on and off the operating table with a d without anesthesia. (I think the truest of the strongest soldiers are the those who get awake lipo.)
•
I’m trying to find a nice marketable way to say…that I’m more than just a CNA with post-op recovery experience. I’ve been in the OR’s (this is just the one I’m sharing), I’ve been in the recovery house scene, I’ve done home health aide, I’m a former clinical medical assistant and phlebotomist, I’m a pediatric rehabilitation specialist, I mean I could go on.
•
Every single part of my journey prepared me for post-op. I don’t tell my story with these post for sympathy, I share for Mona Scott, Tyler Perry and Lifetime to pick me up (again 😉) and get me and my family out the hood!! Jk jk jk jk but 👀
•
But seriously we’re taught as CNA’s that all we can do is work in the nursing homes and hospitals (which there’s nothing wrong with). But there’s so much more to life. And I show that through my lifestyle.
•
It’s Not a sad story at all especially if you meet me in real life this is what a real life started from the bottom and I’m getting there story.
•

Most people think I just provide care to geriatrics, IG models and rappers girlfriends ( I do) but I’m also here for the everyday man and woman. My clients range from teachers, mail carriers, janitors, granny’s, politicians, government officials (including military personnel), SA victims, burn patients, cancer warriors, weight loss surgery candidates and so many more!
•
My focus is electoral cosmetic plastic surgery candidates my specialty is people. Wherever and whomever I’m lead to assist after surgery is where I go. My clients have to qualify for my services. I don’t provide “regular” aftercare, it’s not a hustle for me, I do it because it brings me joy.
•
You can tell who’s in it for the money and who has a servants heart. ❤️
•
Anywho yall know I can get preachy and that’s not my intent….today.
