I never planned to work in tourism.

But building Madeira’s Digital Nomad Village changed everything.
Then Portugal.
Then Brazil.
Then Japan called.
And now Roatán.

Today, I’m rebuilding my newsletter around what I actually do:
Design destinations. Build ecosystems. Advise governments.

Introducing Destination Architects!
A weekly briefing for the people shaping tomorrow’s destinations.

What to expect:
✓ Big strategic ideas
✓ Field notes from the work
✓ Signals shaping global tourism
✓ Frameworks + models
✓ Case studies from real destinations

If you build destinations at any capacity, this is for you.

Next week I will be joining Xolo to speak about Solopreneurship and running a 1 person global company with all the challenges, pains and opportunities.
Solopreneurship just got a massive upgrade with AI so I hope to touch on those points as well.
I’ve been an Estonia e-resident for many years and ran all my operations through Estonia and Xolo.

☕️ Fresh coffee.
₿ Pay in Bitcoin.
⚡️ Fast internet.
🌊 The best view on the island.

Working from the Bitcoin Center in Próspera hits different. It’s where productivity meets paradise and community.
whether you’re here to code, trade, or just soak in the energy of a borderless future.

Would you work here for a day? 👀

Ps: I got my first Bitcoin wallet to be able to pay for my capuccinos.

Love to work from inspiring places.

Also got to meet some people to prepare future projects in Madeira, but more on that soon. 😎

2025 is over!
(and we launch some surprises for 2026)...

This year in Albufeira was incredible!

Here’s my highlights!
- The people who joined were mostly entrepreneurs who manage their business around the world. That’s exactly our goal and will keep providing them with the best content and place to meet like minded humans.

- Start with a BANG!
Our sunset boat trip was the best way to start our week, with a beautiful setup, 3 hours of connection, swimming in the warm waters of Algarve, dancing... Will repeat in all the conferences we organise.

- Enough shallow content, it’s time to go deep!
The academies were a success! AI, business growth, content creation and wellness/longevity. Each delivered top content with time to go deep, learn something new and implement.

- Leaving space for self organising events.
This year the community organised incredible events! From sunset walks, Cardano starter courses all the way to parties. The community has a super power of self organising, open space on the agenda for them to do so.
Our community is full of rockstars :)

- Embracing wellness.
I loved to end in a pool day with ice baths and with time to talk and do it together as a community. Will definitely do more of tis in the future as it brings together people and longevity, 2 of my favourite things.

The Nomad World Awards!
This year we put a show together with circus artists, incredible food and the best people to celebrate the best of the best in the nomad community.
14 winners, that we will announce soon online got the Awards, the best businesses, people and communities.
It’s not really about the awards, it’s about celebrating everyone doing cool projects in the community.

I also had a realisation.

Events are our gift to the community.

It’s something new we build, from us to us.

Organisers don’t really enjoy their events, but we LOVE the people, how we can add to their lives, how we can help them come together, how they grow.

Many people came to me and said that our event changed their lives. Many people meet at TNW and travel together. That’s all we want.

Were you at TNW?
