Occasional little known fact:

Pete Best, the original drummer for the Beatles, released an album in 1966 called "Best of the Beatles" that contained no Beatles music.

"Best of the Beatles" was, contrary to typical presumptions, not a Beatles compilation album. Instead, it was an album released by Pete Best's band, The Pete Best Combo. The title was meant to be a pun, to be read as Best, of the Beatles.

This led to disappointment from fans who bought the album without reading the track-listing.

He was (of course) investigated for consumer fraud, but the case was dropped because no fraud had been committed.

He was after all... Best, of the Beatles.
