Friends, with fires currently burning across the river near the Rowena exit, and all this wind, be aware that embers could jump the river and endanger our town. Please stay vigilant.

There are still THREE spaces available for chipping - Piles must be ready by May 31 - Registration required.

Removing tree branches touching buildings, removing branches from the lower 6ft of a tree, thinning brush, cutting tall grass, etc. all dramatically reduces fire risk on your property. If you haven't already, consider chatting with neighbors about their fire risk reduction efforts as reducing fire risk on your property is great, reducing fire risk on nearby properties is even better!
