When I say I feel organized, I mean I found the charger on the first try. 🤣

Love is not found in perfect moments, but in the quiet choice to stay, understand, and grow together.

The deepest kind of love is not loud—it’s consistent, patient, and shows up even on the ordinary days.

In a world that moves too fast, love is the pause where two hearts decide to truly see each other.

True love feels like peace, not confusion; like home, not a question you keep trying to answer.

Even when the world gives nothing back, giving still makes you richer.

Valentine’s Day isn’t just about flowers and plans.

It’s about that someone who choose to stay when life stops being easy.

Who sits with you in your struggles, not just candlelit dinners.

Who listens when grief, fear, or exhaustion makes you hard to love.

Who chooses you on ordinary Tuesdays, not just February 14.

Love is beautiful…but it isn’t the only thing that carries a relationship.

Commitment does.
Character does.
And that quiet decision to show up time and time again.

So today, we are not celebrating grand gestures.
We are honoring the kind of love that endures—
the one that stays when all the butterflies fade
and life gets real.

That’s the love worth choosing. 💗

Happy Valentines Day, Everyone!

Oops… I did it again. And this time, I went even further.
Last year I pushed myself through a 5K, and this year I showed up stronger, braver, and more determined, crossing a 10K finish line in 1 hour and 6 minutes.

I’m deeply grateful for every early morning run, every moment of doubt I pushed through, and every small step that added up to something bigger. Hard work really does pay off; not just in the result, but in who you become along the way.

Here’s to progress, perseverance, and believing in the version of yourself you’re still becoming.

Cold weather has a way of shaping us. I believe this teaches us discipline, resilience, and the kind of grace we often forget to give ourselves.

Discipline shows up when moving your body feels like the last thing you want to do. Especially this cold weather here in Texas. The roads are slippery, the air is sharp to the throat, and running outside isn’t even safe. Yet, here I am, still choosing to move, still honoring my one of the non-negotiable to exercise. It may look different, slower, or indoors, but showing up in any form is still showing up. Discipline isn’t about perfection. It’s about consistency when motivation is scarce.

Resilience is found in the shift. In going from cozy, cuddled-up, hot-chocolate weather to doing the things that nourish your soul. Opening a book. Writing in your journal. Adding pieces to your vision board. It’s the ability to bounce between comfort and commitment without losing yourself in either. It’s choosing growth even when rest feels more tempting.

And then there is grace. The permission to pause. The understanding that you won’t always maximize every moment of this season, and that is okay. This weather won’t last forever. Neither will the heaviness or the stillness. “This too shall pass,” not as a warning, but as a comfort. A reminder that slowing down is sometimes exactly what your body and mind need.

So I play my favorite music. I reflect on how the year has just begun. I let myself breathe. Winter doesn’t rush, and maybe neither should I. In this cold weather, I’m learning that strength isn’t only about pushing forward…it’s also about knowing when to soften, listen, and rest.
