2025 BYD Dolphin: What’s New & Should You Consider Buying it?

This is the BYD Dolphin 2025 with the new updates which will be explained in this video.
Not only the updates, we will be discussing how it makes sense to still buy in 2025 in Nepal.

It has new color, LFP 12V battery, digital key and other few updates which will be discussed in details in this video.

BYD Dolphin has 44.9 kWh LFP Blade Battery which has the claimed Range of 340 km, *we also did a quick range test and found the range to be better than the claimed WLTP Range in the City.
(* Range may vary depending upon the driving style and conditions)

It has 70 kW motor that produces 94 hp and 180 nm of torque. It feels quick considering the motor and size of the vehicles.

Price of BYD Dolphin 2025 in Nepal is same as before Rs. 41.15 Lakhs.

BYD Dolphin is one of the most selling electric car in this segment which is priced at Rs. 41.15 Lakhs.
This EV was launched back in 2023 and I drove 2025 new Dolphin for few days which has the new updates which I will be discussing on the upcoming video.

Driving around Seres 3 EV for few days.

This Electric SUV has 190 mm of ground clearance and it feels like a SUV as it has taller driving stance.

It has 52.7 kWh Battery that has the range of 320 km and 99 kW motor that produces 132.7 hp and 300 nm of torque.

It has a boot space of 525 litres, one of the biggest in the segment.
This can go upto 160kmph top speed and can do 0-100kmph in 8.9 seconds.
