Eric's the man.

Anyone here had a concussion??? When I was competing in slopestyle, head injuries weren’t really taken seriously, you get back up and keep riding. Luckily I didn’t have too many concussions, but I did have a few and felt their effects, which are scary. I’ve started going to a brain center once a year for baseline testing, so that if I hit my head again it will be easy to know if there is an injury and if I need to take time off. Luckily everything is working as expected currently! Please take concussions seriously, I have too many friends who have sustained severe TBI (traumatic brain injury), and it’s very scary and life altering. This photo is by from slopestyle in 2008 I think, tailwhipping the final step down into the finish corral and the crowd, one of the best feelings in the world.
