New Year, New Name, Who Dis?
Welcome to our new magazine for 2026:
Southwest Florida Family will now contain the local content and events that you have loved about Neapolitan Family Magazine and Lee County Family News! The new name is the umbrella for where our local SWFL communities we live, work, and play.
We will be rolling out these changes and branding over the next few months.

Grace Mills (left), age 11, is a Preliminary Champion dancer and has been dancing since she was six years old.
D’Anna Maki (right) is a TCRG Certified Irish Dance Instructor. She was the 2023 Southern Region Champion, a 2025 top-10 World Champion, and started dancing at age 4.

Our family just returned from skiing the family-friendly slopes of Park City, Utah. While it's our favorite ski destination, we didn't have a ton of snow this winter break. There were still plenty of runs open for my family to have fun on, and seeing the tiny 2-5 year-olds whizzing past us on skis never fails to impress me. Ski trips at all price points can still be pricey (we do it as a holiday gift) but it can be made easier if you book way ahead and make payments along the way. Part of our Neapolitan Family team were treated to a beautiful performance of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas at Gulfshore Playhouse. (Get your tickets today!)
Here is what our writer Andrea Stetson thought of the show:

“There are a lot of Wow moments in White Christmas at the Gulfshore Playhouse. The tap dancing is intricate and amazing to watch as their feet move so quickly in synchronized motions across the floor. The swirling skirts are the best part of the costuming. Then there are the vocals. When the actress who plays Martha, a mousy looking hotel receptionist, belts out her solo, the depth of her voice is so powerful. The deep baritone of the actor who plays Bob is also incredible. What I found fascinating was that while the show had an old-fashioned theme, even my daughter, who was way younger than anyone else in the audience, was smiling and enjoying White Christmas.”c
