Pinch me moment - my first time seeing my work in 📍

Honored to have been commissioned for this story about Banff’s historic backcountry trails. Working alongside the incredibly talented was amazing - her storytelling brought these ancient pathways and their rich history to life in such a beautiful way.

There’s something magical about disappearing into the backcountry - no phone signal, just the rhythm of hooves and the sound of wind through the pines. We experienced all four seasons in a single day, from blazing sun to sudden hail, reminded of how quickly nature can shift and humble you. Being completely off the grid felt like stepping back in time on these ancient pathways that have been traveled for centuries by Indigenous peoples, fur trappers, and early pioneers.

More often than not, my photo projects get buried with the next before I ever share with y’all. But I’ve decided I’m over it. I’ll just post when I can.

South America was magical. The beauty, the people, the food. Going back through my photos feels like reading a girl’s lovesick diary. I was (am) simply smitten by it all.

Here’s a pretty backdrop of one of our first lunch stops in Chile. 🫶
