DAY THREE! Let's talk covers. The original Noir Is the New Black only had one cover due to its graphic novel format. But that was then. For the sequel, we wanted to offer multiple choices to fans. Every story now has its own cover from ChrisCross (The Winterfields), Julian Shaw (Noh Face) and Quinn McGowan (Little Rock Files) plus two additional ones: the photo manipulated cover in the vein of volume one and a collector holofoil cover by Ken Lashley!

🎭 NOH FACE is coming for you… and it's not what you think.

We’re beyond honored to welcome the legendary Ernest Dickerson—yes, the visionary director and cinematographer behind JUICE, Demon Knight, Bones, The Walking Dead, The Wire as well as Malcolm X or Do The Right Thing with Spike Lee —to the world of comics! And he’s not coming alone…
Joining forces with his creative partner Rose Geddes, this marks their first-ever comic book story, and it’s premiering in NOIR IS THE NEW BLACK: S02E01.

Their tale, NOH FACE, is a chilling descent into identity, horror, and the masks we wear.

Illustrated by powerhouse artist Julian Shaw (Spider-Man, Moon Knight, X-Men) and colored by Morby, this story is one of many black and bold visions featured in our explosive new series.

ANNOUNCEMENT #1!

The Hit Noir Is the New Black returns in a new series.
Get ready for Season Two Episode One launching

In this new volume, you'll find more noir stories from black creators, starting with Joseph P. Illidge and ChrisCross, coming back for THE WINTERFIELDS!
Introduced in the original graphic novel's Extended Edition, this father and son story set in the 1920s is packed with action, adventure, mobsters, divas, crime and dark twists…

This new installment continues the tale previously published and is delivered by two of the finest African American creators joining forces for their first series together:

- Joe Illidge is a groundbreaking writer with an editorial legacy spanning from Milestone Comics to DC Comics' Batman franchise. He is writing for Image Comics and Todd McFarlane Productions on BLOODLETTER, the horror spy action series for the Spawn Universe, DC Comics on Milestone’s THE SHADOW CABINET, and the upcoming Harriet Tubman middle grade graphic novel for Harper Collins.

- ChrisCross, an amazing veteran artist, has worked for Milestone (BLOOD SYNDICATE), Marvel (CAPTAIN MARVEL, SLINGERS), DC (FIRESTORM) and many more. Recently, he illustrated WEAPONXMEN at Marvel and STATIC SHOCK for DC/milestone.

Andrew Dalhouse completes the creative team on colors.
