After a number of delays (including supply chain issues with paper), Volume 24 of Whole Terrain on the theme of 'About Time' is now available. And for the first time ever we can be purchased online through Bookshop.org, Amazon.com and elsewhere, thanks to the efforts and distribution network of our new publisher, Green Writers Press. About Time indeed! 😁 Glancing through its beautiful pages, I can attest that it was well worth the wait. But don't take my word for it, take a look for yourself and purchase your copy today!

Such an important voice to lose, such a precious voice to cherish. Bell Hooks passed away yesterday at the age of 69. 🙏

"Recalling the legacy of our ancestors who knew that the way we regard land and nature will determine the level of our self-regard, black people must reclaim a spiritual legacy where we connect our well-being to the well-being of the earth. This is a necessary dimension of healing.”

These words were from her piece "Touching the Earth" published in Whole Terrain's 1995/96 volume on 'Exploring Environmental Stereotypes' (reprinted by permission from 'Sisters of the Yam: Black Women and Self-Recovery').
