Well, well, well...look who is movin’ and shakin’ in 2021! It’s **me**. I sold my home at the end of 2020, moved to Atlanta, GA in March, and shifted my business from primarily weddings to solely portraiture. It HaS bEeN sO eAsY aNd FuN yOu ShOuLd TrY iT sOmEtImE 😂😂😳😳🤪🤪

LOL it has been A LOT of change. However, I’m delighted to share that - even though I am now *officially* a Georgia peach - I will be in Waco for Homecoming weekend to cheer on the Baylor Bears and am offering a few holiday sessions while in town (and a handful in Dallas as well). This feels so comforting and joyful as I absolutely ADORE the holiday sessions every year.

Also, let’s be honest, I am ✨INCREDIBLE✨ at these. And so are y’all. Going on *seven* years now, I never cease to be amazed at how many fun, silly, touching, stunning, and just plain gorgeous photographs we make in fifty minutes. There is some kind of magic we conjure up and all the connection, personality, humor, and drop dead good looks of you and your family shine through EVERY. SINGLE. SESSION.

E S S E N C E

Here’s the thing: not all kids are the same. Why make photos of kids that are all the same? Each child, each person is so exquisitely their own. My favorite thing on this earth is to observe someone as their most authentic self and let the wonder of their specific design become clear to me, and then - just enjoy it. Little kids are usually the best subjects for this as they are so magnificently unfiltered.

How wonderful to have photos that capture the essence of a person. To display a photo is to offer celebration for its subject. When the core of someone is celebrated and cherished, when all of who they are belongs suddenly life becomes magic. If every single part of us was embraced, what couldn’t we do?

Do you have a photo of yourself or your children that fully holds the individual loveliness of their being at any one stage of life? I’ll be honest with you, I don’t have many myself. But I hope to give these types of photographs to every single client. So years from now you can look back and be flooded with the texture, tenor, and noise of a season of life. There is nothing more magnetic than a soul lit up and fully themselves.

L A S T C A L L

🔥 It's the end of an era my friends! November 8 I am closing my Waco studio as I prepare to move to Belgium in 2020. This move is happening at an accelerated pace and even is taking this turtle 🐢 by surprise! I've been working on this, actually, for about 3 years. The time is finally right, so just like that it is time for the next chapter. ✨

I have my last wedding Nov 9 for *the best couple* and it will be bittersweet. Family photography will be my main focus moving forward 💓 and I will keep you all updated on the next iteration of Kathryn Krueger Photography INTERNATIONAL, ha! Europe knows what's good and I am *so excited* for this adventure. ⚡️
