If you wonder why our crime fighters are leaving the government to join the private sector wonder no more. 2022 was the last time junior members such as constables and sergeant been promoted to the next level, yet phase 1 was concluded in 2023 August with 100's of new OFFICERS, captain and above taking up their new positions. Imagine being stuck on level 1 for 13 years. A utter disgrace.

Police Boss sends stern warning to Police officers on the beat. 'no police officer is allowed in uniform shopping' and shop owners should not serve police officers in uniform, these are not robots we talking about, do u think this is a fair call ? Most officers work 12 hour shifts either 06:00 - 18:00 or 18:00 - 06:00, either way he is saying go change then stop at the local café to buy bread or milk when u on your way home. Cheap shots seriously!!!!! These type of statements is allowing the public to undermine our men and women in blue, imagine a police officer legitimately attends to a shoplifting complaint at the local traders mall and here's Karen in their face about what they allowed and not allowed to do. Police unions needs to act on these types of OPINIONS and give thorough explanation to members on tne beat.
