GROTESQUE CEREMONIUM — INTO INFINITE OBSCURITY EUROPE TOUR 2026
Founded in Ankara, Türkiye in 2014 by Batu Çetin (Cenotaph), Grotesque Ceremonium started as a solo project dedicated to old school and obscure death metal.
The band released the 4-track EP Blasphemous Goat Observance on cassette in 2014 through American Line Prod (Mexico), followed by their debut full-length Demonic Inquisition in 2016 via Satanath Records and More Hate Prod. After becoming a full live band in 2017, Grotesque Ceremonium continued with numerous shows and tours throughout the underground scene.
Their second album, Sanctum of Demonic Deviance, was released in 2020 through Neckbreaker Records (Germany) on cassette, CD and vinyl. In 2025, the band released their third full-length, Beyond The Masters, on CD and vinyl through Deathrune Records (Poland).
Drawing from old school death metal and dark death-doom, Grotesque Ceremonium’s sound is influenced by bands such as Incantation, Autopsy, Demilich, Funebrarum and Winter.
