Melges Performance Sailboats changes hands. Founded by Buddy Melges, the boatbuilding company has been run by the Melges family for 80 years. New owners, Cate and Allan Terhune, bring their wealth of competitive sailing and sailing industry experience to Zenda, Wisconsin. Andy Burdick remains as president and Harry Melges III will transition to the board.

After more than 80 years of family leadership, Melges has been purchased by Cate Muller-Terhune and Allan Terhune Jr.

We're so sorry to hear of the passing of Sally Helme, former publisher of Cruising World Magazine and Sailing World and a champion of the sailing industry. She loved the people and businesses that make up the sailing world and was a fervent believer in the power of magazines. She'll be missed.
