This is one part of Ghana's history that deserves more attention.

What happened in Keta during the slave trade era is heartbreaking. Listening to the stories and learning about the experiences of our ancestors left me emotional and reflective.

Many people know about the slave trade, but few truly understand the realities that communities like Keta faced.

The pain, the separation of families, and the loss of freedom are stories that must continue to be told.

We owe it to our forefathers to remember, learn, and share these stories with future generations.

Patience is learning not to react when you are provoked. It is staying calm under pressure and choosing composure over impulse in the moment.

It is developing the discipline to pause before you respond, to think before you speak and to remain steady even when emotions are high.

Patience is also refusing to let circumstances harden your heart. It is maintaining clarity and self control in situations that would naturally pull you toward anger, frustration or bitterness.

It shows up in everyday life, in how you handle delays, disagreements, misunderstandings and outcomes that take time to unfold.

Be patient. It is a practice of control, awareness and maturity in real time.
