Scenes from inside the brand new Shibam Coffee Lexington, an all-day cafe that urgently needed. On the edge of University of Kentucky campus, the two-story shop is in the community, hosting events ranging from watch parties to live music. The interior design is subdued, bright, and relaxing— a post-millennial mix of muted greens and tans, along with textures of wood and plaster walls. interesting geometries include Ottoman-era screens, arched recesses, and sculptural seating.
