My Favorite Phrase To Tell people is “I Just Look Like This” , because I know that the average human being loves to judge a book by it’s cover. No I don’t have a whole lot of money, but I do have a whole lot of Ideals, Ambitions, Drive, and GOD. I moved to ATLANTA 18 years ago as a hip hop artist seeking an opportunity to “Get On”. Coming from N. MPLS , Mn. We don’t have big record labels that even look in our direction. So I made the move, not even knowing anyone in ATL but my Partner Jermaine Alexander ( Who was on the Run from fighting a case). He got caught up the first week I got here. There I was in a new state with no one but GOD on my side. So I had to decide STAY & Make A Way, or Go back to my comfort zone. Well I chose A.. I stayed and went through the trials and tribulations, even though I had Kids and family back home that I knew where worrying and wondering what my mindset was that kept me from coming back home. I slept in abandoned apts., did 17 months in jail and never once aborted my mission. I didn’t even go home to visit because I was determined not to go back more fu**ed up than I was when I left. Well 18 years later I have a renewed understanding about life and an appreciation for “THE STRUGGLE”. I’ve dealt with the worst kinda people and stood tall in all situations. Now I no longer have to hope to get put on, because I find myself in a position to put other people on and it feels good. I went from being Menace Da Ric (Mn.) to being Rico "THE PLUG" (ATL.). I am not a “Capper” and some might find it hard to believe that I no longer want to be a “Rapper” ( Even Though I’m Still One Of Thee Best from My City). Now I am a Show producer, Designer, and A great person to contact if you need some help with your projects. I have never stole anything from anyone, nor can you find anyone in my life passed or present that will tell you I be in Some BS ( unless they’re the ones on BS and I combatted it with my sucka repellent..lol). What I am is an independent thinker that knows that the only way to rise is through “Free Enterprise” therefore IAm Independent ...
