Every day in August, from 12 Midnight till 6am (Pacific Time), Visage: An Exploration Through the Centuries in Music will present music from the enigmatic and mythologic German composer Karl-Heinz Stockhausen who was born August 22nd, 1928 in the "castle" of the village of Mödrath. This village is located near Kerpen in the Cologne region of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
I’ll be presenting Chore fur Doris from 1950, Formel from 1951, Schlagtrio from 1952, Gesang der Junglinge from 1956, Mikrophonie I from 1964, four movements from Aus Den Sieben Tagen of 1968, Side One of Sirius from 1977, Friday from the Seven Licht operas composed in 1994 and other works that time allows.

I’ll be presenting the Piano Trio in e from 1893, the Nonet in f from 1894, the Clarinet Quintette in f # from 1895, the Symphony in a, Op. 8 from 1896, the Ballade in a for Orchestra, the 3 part opera, ‘The Song of Hiawatha, Op. 30, the African Dances Op. 58 from 1904, the Symphonic Variations on an African Air, Op. 63 from 1906, the Valse Suite, Op. 71 from 1909 and the final work presented will be his Violin Concerto in G Minor, Op. 80 from 1912.
