Flashback has been thrilling riders in the New England area since 2000! With nearly six inversions packed into a small footprint, there’s no wonder how this ride mod managed to make its mark across the world in its heyday!

Summer Storms rolling in at the end of a day’s operation ⛈️ 🎢

Summer Storms become more common in the summertime due to the instability in the air, most being unwelcome due to their sudden disruption of outdoor activities and intimidating appearance. But with the right man behind the lens, and the assistance of Adobe Photoshop, thunderstorms can be a source of beauty and adventure with their thunderous BOOMs and lighting should you catch it!

You like Double Downs, how about a TRIPLE DOWN!? 🧜‍♀️ 🌊

Siren’s Curse features a worlds first, putting a mythical twist on the standard “Triple Down” and replacing the first two hills with aggressive, twisty, airtime hills. The first hill is an S Hill, followed by a miniature sideways airtime bump, all leading into the lakeside dive where the Sirens reside!

Let’s take a look at some of the mechanical components of the Great Nor Easter! ⛈️ 🌊

🧲 Magnetic Brakes
These magnetic brakes are static, and remain in a fixed place to ensure that the train reaches a smooth stop at the end of the ride cycle. Although they are fixed, the train is still able to move quickly under the friction tires thanks to how eddy currents work. The more force you put in, the more resistance it exerts!

🛞 Drive Tires
Unlike other SLCs, Nor Easter uses a pair of drive tires to push the train back into the station following the ride!

🅱️ Brake
This singular friction brake is what is used to hold the train in place, as the magnetic brakes can only slow a train down.

B&M’s FIRST rollercoaster is set to CLOSE this November 🐦‍🔥

It may not be as old as The Wild One, but Firebird’s significance as B&M’s first rollercoaster is hard to ignore. Firebird stood as an example that B&M’s rides are reliable and can last a very long time if care is put into the ride, as well as a living example of just how far B&M has gone since their first coaster. Be sure to grab a ride on B&M’s first coaster before it closes this November!

Today’s takes us outside the pit with one of Top Thrill’s three new “Top Thrill Dragsters”! 🏎️ 🏁

While we were unable to get detailed shots from inside the station, the Top Thrill Pit Crew was kind enough to display one of their trains after a launch abort took place. These Zamperla Lightning Trains take heavy inspiration from Intamin’s train design, all while adding extra levels of comfort and affordability as Zamperla breaks their way into more extreme coasters! The seats hydraulically lock via cylinders covered by the seat backs, which are painted to match the trains primary color. And while these wheels might look big for a coaster, these wheels are exclusive to Top Thrill 2, as the wheels need to be this big to withstand the heat transfer and extreme speeds this ride reaches! We hope to see more Zamperla Lightning coasters pop out in the near future, especially since Top Thrill 2’s reliability has been getting better and better recently!

Comets are used for more than just travel, they’re also used for decoration! 💫 ☄️

Stardust Racers features many kinds of comets! Racing comets, stationary comets, harnessed comets, it’s got it all! And once the sun sets on Celestial Park, Stardust Racers becomes one of the most beautiful coasters you’ll ever see run across the cosmos at night! 🤯

DON’T LOSE YOUR HEAD!! ⛪️🪖
*Eliminates Headaches Fast!*

This is one of five different near miss elements featured on The Swarm, with the billboard being the most recent one added a year after the ride’s opening! On one side is an advertisement for headache medications, and the other is a vacation advertisement that used to say “Take a trip to HELL”, but has since been removed and now reads “Paradise” instead.
