CHOKEHOLD the powerful feature film Directed & Produced by Joel Ayuk is now officially streaming on Tubi, one of the major streaming platforms in the United States owned by FOX Studios, and also on Urban OG Network, owned by legendary rapper and actor Ice-T.
Shot entirely on the beautiful island of
Saint Martin / Sint Maarten, Chokehold is more than just a movie it is a groundbreaking Caribbean production opening doors to a new international approach to filmmaking.
The film combines a powerful and emotional subject matter with breathtaking visuals of the island, showcasing the true beauty, culture, landscapes, and atmosphere of St. Martin to global audiences.
This international release marks a major milestone not only for Caribbean cinema but also for tourism, proving that films made in the region can compete on the world stage while promoting the destination worldwide.
More importantly, Chokehold is helping position St. Martin / St. Maarten as an attractive destination for international film production and could encourage more American producers, studios, and streaming companies to consider the island for future productions, collaborations, and investments in the Caribbean film industry.
