MPS Families,
Due to the additional wintry precipitation and hazardous road conditions, we have decided to cancel classes for all MPS sites for Friday, February 25; this will be a SNOW DAY, not a Distance/Remote Learning day. We will also be canceling Bronco Club and Community Education classes, and due to the anticipated conditions, we will not be offering meal service at any of our sites.
This decision is being made in an abundance of caution. We apologize for any inconvenience and greatly appreciate your understanding as safety is our utmost concern. Please be in touch with your site principals regarding any rescheduling of activities, etc. We will keep you updated as always through email, phone calls, text messages, social media and at http://www.mustangps.org.

Okay, Broncos, I have to apologize to Carl…err…Jack Frost…you know what I mean! It turns out that Mr. SnowDay was almost kidnapped on Wednesday and he spent most of the day at the police station filling out reports. He was able to get back to us yesterday and will be here tomorrow too, but here’s why I owe the apology…

It turns out that this whole thing really has been orchestrated by the illustrious Elsa! I know…I couldn’t believe it either. She’s been arrested for the attempted kidnapping of Mr. SnowDay and the production of hazardous weather without a permit! Hopefully the weekend will give Father Time or even Mother Nature a chance at melting away this Wintry Bliss…you know, I wonder where Mother Nature has been…hmmmph…oh well…we’ll plan to see everyone on Monday, Broncos.

Well, Broncos, Mother Nature seems to be MIA, and we’re still dealing with another day out of class…plus, I hear that Mr. Snow Day reported an attempted kidnapping; I’m sure glad he was able to be here today! I don’t want to blame you-know-who, the one whose name may not be mentioned due to pending litigation…we’ll just call him Carl, but someone has to find out if he was involved here! I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if if Mother Nature comes to the rescue again…until then, bundle up, it’s Frosty out there!

MPS Families,
We have been in touch with the National Weather Service who have issued a Winter Weather Advisory for our area. After careful consideration, we have decided to transition MPS to Distance/Remote Learning for Wednesday, February 23, 2022; this will also mean that BroncoClub will not be offered tomorrow and Community Education classes will be canceled as well. You should be hearing from your child(ren)’s school(s) soon on the detailed plan for tomorrow. Additionally, due to the anticipated conditions, we will not be offering meal service at any of our sites.
Should any family lose power during this winter weather/distance learning event, please just let the school(s) know and we will work with those affected.

Okay, Broncos…time to ‘fess up! I already reminded everyone about how complaining gets us into these messes, but someone just couldn’t help themselves! I received a formal cease & desist from Mr. Jack Frost along with a complaint of slander. Evidently me insinuating that he had something to do with that last Winter Blast has hurt his reputation and he has been receiving “numerous complaints” from the Mustang area. So, to whomever has the big megaphone, please leave Jack Frost alone. We don’t need him…err…I mean we don’t need any more of this Winter Weather, so let’s think positively and hope that Mother Nature can return soon and get us back to class! Until then, stay safe & warm!
