God does not use evil to test His people.

Sometimes, human beings use evil by taking advantage of the situations God permits. But we must be careful not to mistake the actions of people for the character of God.

The enemy can use circumstances, people, and situations to deceive us, but don’t fall for the tricks. Keep your faith in God, trust His Word, and remain steadfast even when you don’t understand what is happening.

God is good, and His intentions toward His people are good.

Don’t let evil make you doubt the goodness of God. 🙏

Stay watchful. Stay prayerful. Don’t fall for the tricks.

TOPIC: RELY ON HIM
TEXT: Matthew 7:7–8; Matthew 11:28
ACTION VERSE: Matthew 11:28

AIM OF THE LESSON:
To help us know the right person to call whenever we need help. There is only One we can truly depend on, rely on, and cast all our needs and troubles upon. He is Jesus Christ!

The Bible tells us in Matthew 11:28:
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

A man can make a promise and fail, but God never fails. Human beings may disappoint us, but the Lord remains faithful.

The Lord made it clear in Matthew 7:7 that we should ask, seek, and knock. He is always ready to hear us when we call upon Him. He doesn't need to take permission from anyone before He helps His children.

The Lord says, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

This is a season of school fees, new school materials, feeding, and many other responsibilities. Rely on Him! Is your own feeding? Call on Him! Are you worried about school fees or other needs? Call on Jesus!

Matthew 7:8 says that whoever asks receives, whoever seeks finds, and whoever knocks, the door will be opened.

Therefore, don't put all your trust in man. Rely on Jesus. Call on Him, trust Him, and cast your cares upon Him.

PRAYER:
Lord, let me enjoy You more each time I call upon You. Teach me to trust You completely and depend on You in every situation. Amen.

TOPIC: DON’T INVITE GOD’S ANGER

TEXT: Zephaniah 1:1–18
ACTION VERSE: Zephaniah 1:4

Here, God is sending a strong warning to the people of Jerusalem through Prophet Zephaniah because they had turned away from God and were no longer worshipping Him wholeheartedly.

God does not want us to share His glory with other gods. The people of Judah had turned their attention to Baal, the moon, and the stars.

In today’s world, many people worship God because of what they want to gain from Him, rather than because they genuinely love Him.

God genuinely loves us as human beings whom He created in His own image, and He expects us to reciprocate that love by loving, worshipping, and serving Him sincerely.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY THAT SOUNDS LIKE YOU ARE DEVIATING FROM GOD’S ARRANGEMENT FOR YOUR LIFE?

You can quickly ask for forgiveness and realign yourself with Him.

The love of God is better than anything this world has to offer.

ACTION WORD: John 3:16

🙏 PRAYER:
God Almighty, help me to always worship You and serve You like never before. Help me to remain faithful to You and never allow anything to take Your place in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

As you go out today, may the Lord bless you, guide you, protect you, and cause His face to shine upon you. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

If the whole essence of your intimacy with God is only to get things from Him, you need to check that.

Yes, God cares deeply about your needs. But you should get to a point where you genuinely care about the things that matter to Him too. You want to know His heart, hear Him, obey Him, and be useful in His hands.

God is not just the One who meets your needs. He is the One you desire.

*Pleasant Morning, elites in the building and all my elders.*

*I came across this Prof Osinbajo video and I know some of us might have seen it too.*

*The prayer is that in the course of trying to eat healthy, may we never eat what will endanger our health.*

*Fruits are good, but do we really trust the source they are coming from?*

*In those days, we used to spend hours cooking beans. Today, beans take just 35-45 minutes to cook. What is going on?*

*The harmful insecticides that farmers are using is another problem.*

*If God has helped you to have your own house, please look for a corner to have our own little farm for vegetables... Blessed week ahead.*
