๐ฅ๐จ๐จ๐๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ: Typhoon โTinoโ Devastates Lives
โIf you walk the footsteps of a stranger, you'll learn things you never knew, you never knew.โ
โ Colors of the Wind
Amidst these times of sorrow, citizens demand that the privileged and the corrupt reflect on the lives lost due to poor decisions fueled by greed and power. The streets are not only filled with floodwater but also with the tears shed by helpless victimsโuncertain of their fate. Individuals scream for aid, but their shouts are lost in the strong current of the storm.
In the comfort of our own homes, we inevitably encounter social media posts showing footage of the severe damage inflicted by Tino on vulnerable areas. One major issue that surfaces is the lack of empathy. Many of us see these posts but scroll past, dismissing the struggles trapped behind that screen. That dismissal alone is a sign of carelessness, apathy, and privilege. Open your eyesโsee the people mourning their hard-earned belongings, the frail children sleeping on cold cement, and the animals once filled with light, now motionless bodies floating on savage waters.

How?
Not everyone has access to money, but we all have our own platformsโwhether itโs a simple Facebook post spreading awareness or using your position in government to make a difference. In times of calamity, strength as a community must prevail. Staying silent is equivalent to becoming the very force that kills.
