There’s so much happening in this frame, yet your eye knows exactly where to go.

Photographed by Italian wedding photographer Rino Cordella , this Jewish wedding ceremony is a wonderful example of his photojournalistic approach. Rather than simply photographing what’s in front of him, Rino finds a composition that brings the whole scene together: the couple, their guests, and even the raised phone capturing another view of the moment.

It’s real life as it happened, photographed with a little extra thought. And that’s what makes it so good.

Helicopters, mountaintops, glacial lakes… and one seriously fun party. And that is just what this week’s Real Wedding is all about.

Sara and Weston’s intimate wedding in Wanaka, New Zealand was all about doing things their way. With just 15 of their favorite people, they flew to a private mountaintop for the ceremony, explored glaciers and secluded lakes by helicopter, then headed back to The Lookout Lodge for dinner, espresso martinis, and a dance floor that got just a little wild.

And because Sara is a wedding photographer herself, choosing the right person to capture it all really mattered. Fellow World’s Best Wedding Photos member Jason Vinson of Vinson Images was there for every epic view, quiet moment, and, of course, the dance-floor chaos.

This one was one fun adventure from beginning to end.

Journey of a wedding photographer - Ben Chrisman - Chrisman Studios

A repost for those who may have missed it.

I've had the pleasure of knowing Ben for more than 20 years. He was one of the first wedding photographers I ever called a friend, and I've admired both his work and the person he is ever since.

Ben’s journey as a wedding photographer has taken him around the world, and one truth stands out: the most treasured images are never planned. They are the quiet, emotional moments that grow more meaningful with time. A wedding photographer’s role is simply to notice what others are too busy living to see.

Check out his guest blog post here: https://www.worldsbestweddingphotos.com/journey-of-a-wedding-photographer

There’s something about the wedding processional.
The music starts, everyone stands, and suddenly the moment everyone has been waiting for is actually happening.

For this week’s theme, Processionals, we chose photographs that capture so much more than simply walking down the aisle. There are proud parents, nervous smiles, happy tears, guests turning for that first glimpse, and couples seeing each other with that here we go look on their faces.

What made these images stand out is how differently each photographer saw the moment. Some stepped back and used the entire scene to tell the story. Others found the emotion happening between two people. And a few chose an unexpected angle that makes you look twice.

Here are ten of our favorite processional moments from World’s Best Wedding Photos photographers, listed in order:

1. Dimi and Wallace Wedding Photographer Greece
2. Nat Wongsaroj Washington DC Wedding Photographer | Nat
3. Chrisman Studios Charleston Photographer l Weddings + Portraits

The bride by the window, taking in a quiet moment, while the groom stands nearby in silhouette. They’re together, but each in their own little world for just a second, and that’s what makes this image feel so special.

Photographed by Christora Oster of Green Apple Weddings (), it’s a beautiful example of how she sees a wedding day. She looks for the quiet moments, the in-between moments, and the ones you never want to forget.

A big welcome to Rony Auyon Rony Auyón, our newest World’s Best member from Guatemala!

For Rony, wedding photography starts with connection. He wants his couples to feel comfortable, enjoy their day, and be themselves while he captures all that is happening around them: the laughter, the emotion, and those little moments you never see coming.

His documentary approach is about keeping things real and creating photographs that bring you right back to how the day felt.

Rony says his superpower is resilience, always moving forward with gratitude and enthusiasm. We think that
says a lot about the person behind the camera, too.

We’re so happy to have you as part of the World’s Best Wedding Photos family, Rony!

For this week’s themed collection, we’re celebrating couples who decided their wedding adventure should be exactly that, an adventure.

Snowboarding down a mountain, kayaking through glaciers, diving underwater, hiking through the woods, hopping on Vespas, climbing cliffs, chasing waterfalls, and apparently even inviting an eagle along for the ride.

These 10 photographs from World’s Best Wedding Photos members are a reminder that there really are no rules for how your wedding day has to look. Go somewhere incredible. Do something you love. Get the dress a little dirty. Wear the hiking boots. Dive into the water head first.
Most importantly, do whatever you truly want to do, as the day is all about the two of YOU!
