It isn’t storytelling or the almost flawless, consistent performances that define Silverada; it’s the authenticity behind a loyal, widespread and growing fan base. The band arrived at The Coves Amphitheater earlier than scheduled to practice, staying even later to sign autographs for fans. I’m pretty sure I even saw them mumbling together a new song about a local writer who snuck his ass onto their bus for tequila as they drove away.

Reports suggest Bedford County may start doing its own economic development, a costly idea that likely won’t garner the same results as regional collaboration. Experts in the field suggest it could even cost taxpayers a whopping $2.5Million a year, far more than the $100,000 Bedford taxpayers currently contribute to the regional alliance. More here:
