A trough of low pressure lies over Fiji and is gradually moving eastwards, which is associated with clouds and showers.

Please remain vigilant as the Nadi Weather Office says the trough of low pressure is expected to affect the eastern parts of Fiji till later today.

Heavy falls have started to cause flash flooding in low-lying and flood-prone areas.

Motorists are being urged to drive carefully and continue to supervise our children at all times.

RFNS Puamau is now resting safely on Ogea waters after it was successfully recovered from the reef at Fulaga by the salvage tug Ratu Rabici with support from RFNS Savenaca.
